I think everyone is out to prove something to someone. It seems as if they are always trying to play some game with someone. The only problem is they can't all play it the same way. Some people think that by being tough, they wil gain admirer's. But it seems to me the more phony you are to yourself and others, the less you will find the respect of others. It is hard to not laugh when I see people trying to prove that they are something they're not. But that was so in the secties, the senenties and the eighties too. People seem to revel in playing mind games. It's just that some are better than others in putting on the agony. It doesn't stop the rampant racism that still exists among people of various backgrounds. That is where the real problem exists. People have to drop the front that they hold up and really see through the screen of bigotry and racism, rather than play like it really isn't happening. Because that is just propogating the problem, it doesn't justify any of the actions that really ostracized people before now. Nor will it stop it from happening in the future.

I think it makes it worse for black people who don't act like that. Because it strengthens the perception that acting ghetto or whatever is acting black. And I want to know, how can you "act" black? So some of the people who don't act like that are told that they want to be white or are self-hating blacks. It's complete stupidity.

I haven't seen many black and white people around. We do have a black and white cat that sneaks around the bird feeders.

Anytime someone tries to act like something they're not bugs the **** out of me...Whether it be a black person acting like a white person and vice versa, or whether it be a girl acting like a dude and vice versa, which is common in this "gay life" All that irks the **** outta me.. BE YOURSELF!!!

People in a given circumstance will act according to thier peers.

If you get whites, or blacks in a ghetto situation, then they ALL will act the same, because they have no outside influences to inspire them and bring them up by thier bootstraps to a different reality.
