100% agree!
The tighter you hang on to someone the more they will feel like running. A relationship is a mutual choice, not a sentence. If someone feels trapped they will often build resentment and sabotage the relationship to get out. It has to be a mutual choice.

I agree, if you let someone or something go and they come back, they realized that they left a good thing. If they don't, then maybe it wasn't meant to be anyway. You might feel hurt for a while, but sooner or later you will get over it and find the one that was meant to be.

I strongly agree. my bf and me were having problems off and on and he tried to make me break up with him and he tryed so much that one day i just said ok its done im letting you go !And he walked off and went home and for the time being i listen to heather headley - in my mind ! that is a great song and she will tell you that it is true . Well like some weeks pass by and im not going to lie i really hated letting him go but i love him and i knew that if i really love him like i say i do i would leave it alone and let him be. And one day he called saying he couldn't take it anymore being away from me this long was killing him inside and said he was on his way over . We kissed and gave hugs and he asked me would i be his again and i said Yes ,yes i be yours! And while we were on the phone b4 he came over i noticed in the background i heard the song we picked as our wedding song! So at that point i already knew he was mine again . And i quote: They say if you love someone you got to let them go and if it comes back then it would mean so much more , but if it doesn't at least you really know that it was something you had to go through to grow"! The last 1 something you had to go through to grow : If it doesn't return back to you it just wasn't meant to be ,and you went throught it to learn, know and grow better!

Agree. If you refuse to let it go, then it would be like you posess it. Posession is not a good element in true love.. If you are going to love something fully and truly, you have to love it with all your heart completely. No exceptions, no flaws, no limits, no ultimatums. Love it the way you found it, let it go, containing it will drive it away.

Disagree. If a person wants to be with me, then they should know it and not have to go away from me to find out if there is anything better out there. I wouldn't want someone to let me go to see if I would come back.

I agree. I am a dreamer, and I do believe that if it's meant to be, it will happen. Sometimes you HAVE to let someone go, it's just how the circumstances are... and if they come back, I consider it a sign.

I agree... because love doesn't mean being selfish and demanding. Love involves sacrifice. The more you sacrifice for a person, the more evident it is that you love them. My ex-boyfriend used to always try to keep me with him every second of the day. I concluded that he didn't love me because he wouldn't let me be the person I really wanted to be.

A pretty poster slogan recycled about every ten years. Relationships are more complex than a poster slogan with a pretty picture in the background.

I cannot agree or disagree. It's only a pretty slogan.
