L.E.I. jeans should be branded -- that is, they should have some sort of identification on them so you can prove that they are genuine L.E.I.s. In theory, it shouldn't make a difference if you don't have your receipts, although it would be easier if you did have them. Did you buy them all at once? All from the same store? If so, I'd talk to the store manager. If you don't get any satisfaction there, write a letter to the L.E.I company and outline the problem, offering to send the faulty jeans to them. Just make your letter very straightforward and outline the facts, tell them when you bought each pair of jeans, and how long they lasted before they ripped, then ask what they suggest you should do. That throws the ball into their court and gives them the opportunity to offer you new jeans or a refund.
If you don't get any satisfaction from them, call the Better Business Bureau, and then call your local newspaper and ask to speak to their consumer specialist. Many major newspapers have inquiring reporters who would be happy to take on something like this and insist on answers and on knowing how the problem can be corrected, whether other people have been similarily affected, and whether they will replace the jeans for you.
If none of that works, cut them up and make a quilt out of the pieces.
Good luck!

This is what I would say,
Hi, I live at such and such a place, I purchased 5 pair of jeans all at the same time, and each pair riped in the same spot after only two months,I paid what ever for these 5 pair, and have never had problems with this brand before, so I didn't keep the receipt, could you please reimburse me for the amount of what ever.

If they all ripped in the same place I would bet they don't fit. I have heard some girls say they are hard to fit. Why did you buy so many at one time? I would be surprised if they did anything about all five pair. Maybe one. I'd write a letter or email instead of calling. It keeps you from getting mad and saying something you don't mean to say.

Before you contact them, contact your local Better Business Bureau or Consumer Protection Agency, (that one is at the State's Attorney office), make your complaint there first. It's the very best way to get them to listen. And you should switch brands, the LEI jeans sound like junk.

Well call in and if they have an attitude towards you or act like they dont care then you just need to be firm with them no yelling or being rude just let them know what the problem is and if no one seems to do anything about it ask to speak with the store manager.

Just tell them what you've told us. I can't predict what they will do but I guess you're hoping for something, right? Maybe you should decide what YOU want and ask for it.
