They are full of themselves, selfish, disrespectful, and hard to like, even the sucessful ones. How do you distance your self from the odious tendencies and still like them--ofcourse you love them. Its hard for me.

How can you get down to the truth of a story with two sides (ie: a dispute between two people) when both side are either opposing, or almost completely different?

What could cause a sudden fear for your life? I was in a spooky surrounding. It was outdoors, and pretty dark. I started to feel like something was hunting me down. The person I was with felt it very shortly after I did. We drove away (we had been parked in a car). Do you think I was just nervous/scared and the other person subconciously picked up on this? Or do you think something was really hunting us?

We were on an island near Charleston, SC. We were by an old fort, but it wasn't exactly in disuse...it was sort of converted into a giant playground area.

I've enjoyed this man's short films for a while now. really getting into them. Loved Rejected, loved Meaning Of Life, have the Animation show and about to get Bitter Films volume one. I've seen almost everything Don Hertzfeldt has made. I can even draw those poof ball thingies just like him. I just don't know how to pronounce the guy's last name. I mean, if you look up to someone for their talent, you should be able to pronounce their name properly. That's just respect, my friends. So someone tell me how so I can stop trying to make my dense mind over analyze the situation.

Has someeone hurt you so bad and turned on you....but after much time...maybe even a year that person regretted what he/she had done to you and called you to apologize? Has this ever happened to you and also do you think that time makes people think and realize what they had done?

Thanks!

i talk to myself. not like long conversations with myself. but little pep talks like 'sarah...time to step up and study'. i don't consider that weird in itself but i don't say 'sarah it's time to go study' or sarah you need to go study... i constantly without thinking about it, instinctively even say 'sarah we need to study.'
i always refer to myself when speaking to myself in plural... what is wrong with me.

Since i'm not exactly "popular", and very werid i want it gone sense it's making getting freinds and holding a conversation hard, and always has been.

This isn't a question about abortion or creationism or evolution. And it refers to humans and animals.

I am a 31.. wonderful hard working husband. We live an above average lifestyle. I look nice on the outside but am so ugly on the inside. I lie when it benefits me, you would think I am the nicest person and best friend you've ever had. But I am not a nice person, I lie, steal, cheat, use drugs and do what is good for me. How can I be honest with myself and get help. I know I deserve a million slams for this post but I need honest feedback, not cruel.

ther is a girl at work who worries me. she puts on this act of being concerned about everyone, yet she constantly talks behind everyones back using the information she has gathered while acting concerned. she like to play a game I call one-upsmanship. when you say something bad has happened she always has something worse. when you say something good has happened she aslways says something better. When ever there is physical work to do she has an automatic asthma attack then over uses her inhaler so she gets all shakey and has to sit for awhile. chain and spreads gossip just like she does on her "my space" account. She gives customers mis-information then says it must have been someone else who said it. she leaves a mess and blames it on others. does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do about her? We have lost one good employee because of her. What should we do?

I have a jerk of a professor for a sociology class that I am not doing very well in (It is sociology so I am a bit ashamed to even admit that). I am hovering around a C- level with the final exam on the horizion and my professor (a woman believe it or not) offered me extra credit in the form of participating in a study that she is doing. It would raise my grade one level for one hour of participation and 2 levels for 3 hours of participation. Problem is the study involves me getting tickled on the bottoms of my feet for long periods of time without stopping. I don't think I can deal with more than a few seconds so its not exactly something I think I can handle but at the same time I need the grade or I am screwed. Worse yet the person doing the study ties your feet down so you cannot move them during the tickling. Help, any advice is good advice, I need to make a decision right away!!!!!!!!!!!
