Many sci-fi movies have time-machines that people use to visit themselves in the past. But are we ever really the same person? We are constantly consuming, touching, interacting, and changing our minds. I might have loved someone one day and hated them the next. Maybe i can walk today, but lose my legs tomorrow. How can we say we are the same person when we change so much?

Recently I had a kidney stone. I'm 24 & currently date a 38 year old divorced mother of 2. Her name is Jill & she kinda has that Pam Anderson look, maybe because of her hair. I had the attack, she took me to the ER, they told me I had 2 stones. I managed to pass the 1st stone there at the ER & later had the 2nd stone that night. Jill said she wanted to witness a man passing a stone. She brought up a chair in the bathroom. I stood over the toilet, the strainer was set & I whipped out my Johnson & started to trickle out some urine. Jill quickly whipped out her camera phone & started to record the event. I found myself pushing to move the stone down my urethra, enduring incredible pain, finally one hard push, I screamed & the stone flew out into the strainer. She laughed & said its a girl! People at work asked me about the stone & I felt embarassed having people know that I passed a hard rock through my Johnson. It seems like people make more eye contact with groin than before or is it me

I feel pretty low lately, and meanwhile my job is getting really boring. Now I'm wondering, is it the job, or should I stop blaming it on that, it's just me...

Everytime I go out I feel like someone is looking at me. It's soooo hard to be myself because I feel like someone is looking at me. :( I sometimes can't even talk to the other gender because of this. I always feel like there is something wrong or like I have flaws.

No, I don't have low selfesteem... lol! I believe it's accurate sometimes what I feel. I just AM sooooooooo shy!!!

This was a very calculated act that took time...Employee that unscrews bolts in conference table at work -

Our conference table collapsed on us during a meeting. Luckily no one was really injured although one woman had it land on her knee.

It was a calculated act as the table grew more and more wobbly with each meeting until it finally collapsed - now they use the "good" half for meetings!

We have suspicision that one of our very passive aggressive employees did this, so I approached him to day about it, and he outright admitted it, laughed and said he was proud of it!

Now, I'm really concerned. What is he capable of doing next?

Should I be concerned or sit back with popcorn and wait?

I am currently a recovering 19 year old child of an alcoholic. My dad has been sober now for about 5 months. Though he is sober now, I am having difficulty in my own recovery. I experienced 5 years of abuse whenever he was drunk at home and I have put up some various roles such as the hero in the family.
For two years now, my attemps of having intimate relationships always fail. People always label me as "different". Hence I resulted to isolation. Rejection just hurts too much.

I hope someone similar to me, can relate and maybe join me in a long and difficult recovery.

A college professor (or so he said) came in today and told one of my staff members that he gave poor directions on the phone because of being left-handed. I have had other lefties work for me in the past; some have had their quirks and one used it as an excuse, but is there any science to lefties having a mental deficit? I don't think so, but now I'm curious.

like, pick a celebrity or someone you know. for example, I'd want Johnny Depp to be the voice in my head. And marylin manson. and probably god and the devil just to make things interesting.

Soemtimes I mention proudly to my husband or mother that I was considering doing something (like send a message to an ex boyfriend who I happened to find online at Myspace) but in the end I resisted the urge and did nothing. Instead of "good for you" or "wise decision" all I get are groans implying, "I can't believe you even considered it, what a loser." Isn't it better to admit the truth and overcome your first irrational instinct than to pretend I never felt or thought anything? Or are these people in my life just unsupportive, negative, and hurtful? What should I say in order to exhibit my psychological growth for their satisfaction, some of my only accomplishments in life, which would otherwise go unnoticed?
