I been scared of men ever since I was a child because my father was abusive. Now ever time I see / meet a man I think of the worst things he could do? I cant talk to my English teacher cause he scares me.

There is something about my English teacher that my mind just doesn't like you know like a bad feeling. His eye are what really scare me they are dark brown so you cant tell where he's looking , Ever time I'm near him I get really scared and afraid, other guys scare me but not like he does( he hasn't ever done anything wrong he has always been really friendly and all but I don't know) Maybe it's the way he is Cause he 24 tall and muscular. I'm a very short person

hi, I'm a man.. I've never done anything bad to any woman. Like most men I'm an alright guy.... Like all humans there are some bad apples among us.. but please don't group us together.. think of us as a different species if you have to.. the fact is most of us aren't like that.
if it helps.. maybe start by hanging out with gay men.. I know that sounds odd.. but they are kind of feminine and it might not bother you as much since your subconscious will see them as less of a threat and also that they have no sexual interest in you... then try to segue out from there.

The best advice that I can give to you is find one person around you that you feel somewhat comfortable around and build a relationship with him so that you will lose that sense of fear around men. The only way to overcome fears are to confront them. You could always ask one of your girlfriends to support you and help you with your phobia. Look for the girl who is most comfortable around the boys and ask her methods.

go to a counselor to get help they helped my friend
