I've enjoyed this man's short films for a while now. really getting into them. Loved Rejected, loved Meaning Of Life, have the Animation show and about to get Bitter Films volume one. I've seen almost everything Don Hertzfeldt has made. I can even draw those poof ball thingies just like him. I just don't know how to pronounce the guy's last name. I mean, if you look up to someone for their talent, you should be able to pronounce their name properly. That's just respect, my friends. So someone tell me how so I can stop trying to make my dense mind over analyze the situation.

Say it with with me kids: The word of the day is "hurts-feld". Some times people also say it as "hurts-felt", yet this is incorrect. The only other way(and most people who pronounce it like this are from Germany) to say it is "hurts-feld-T", with an emphasis on the last letter of the name.
