Psychology - May 2007

Is anyone else like me? My poor wife. All she wants is a steady husband. And for 20 years at least I find a job, the I'm always looking at other jobs thinking that the grass is greener somewhere else. This kills me. What happens is, I get bored with the job, then my mind is distracted thinking of a way to get out, then consequently my performance starts to falter and I have actually been fired from a couple of jobs.

This is why I strive for self-employement because at least I know I can do something I enjoy and it creates challenge.

If you somehow got trapped on a deserted island, and had no extra clothes would you be challenged by this? If you had to give-up a piece of clothing for someone else, what would the piece of clothing be? (You wouldn't get it back, and remember you don't have extra clothes, you would have to live the rest of your life, without wearing that piece of cothing) ONLY GUYS ANSWER PLEASE

In August of 2005, I started to cut myself, had sucidial thoughts.. My parents found out in January.. I was really ashamed of myself. They got me help at a psychologist or whatever it's called.. They didn't help ATT ALL. Well, I haven't cut myself since.. I'm 14. I've had anxiety problems, & I love someone I'm NEVER going to have. UNREQUITED love hurts horribly, I sware.I think I have anger problems. But what I'm trying to ask is that could cutting myself develop problems later in life, like right now?

We were asked today in school about a hero, someone we look up to...

as soon as i started thinking about it, I realized... I am greatly inspired by hitlar. I hate everything he did, but just that power that he wanted, and was able to get... i just love it. D= Although all of his tactics were terrible...

Even though i hate everything he stands for, and what he did, does it make me a horrible person that the power he wanted and got inspires me?

I just grauduated college, and for some reason I feel really depressed, like I 've lost something.LOL..Its strange because I am happy and proud of myself for accomplishing my goal, but I feel sad in a way.Can anyone relate?Has anyone had the same problem once they finshed college? Have you ever "sensed" somebody watching you or coming up behind you? Ever had a premonition that turned out to be true? I have found that I am able to tell when a TV is on without hearing it or seeing it. I can sort of feel it's signal. Does anybody experience anything like this? Are humans able to detect electrical signatures or something?

I can count backwards from100 really easy and so can a lot of people, but it is really hard to say the alphabet backwards..

The alphabet is only 26 letters long so you would think that it would be easy to say backwards, but i can only do it a little bit.

My ex and I broke up years ago. we were teenagers. now I'm 29 and can't stop thinking about him. I have tried contacting him (he lives in another state) without success. I don't know what this means. What provoked this was me dreaming about him. I dreamt that I ran into him at a bus station (greyhound e.g.). I never take the bus. In the dream, I walked past him and turned around and called his name. He seemed down and never spoke but kept looking down at his hands. Ever since this, I cannot stop thinking about him. I've grown too dependable on my boyfriend, that I get affected by little things that he does. I'm a very jealous person, so I tend to think each of his close encounters with girls were very uncalled for. I realized I keep feeling this way, and the only cure for this is to learn not to care. How can I feel like a strong woman? Feminist powers??? I feel sad for myself because he doesn't even think any of his gestures are wrong, yet I'm so affected by it inside. Please, help. Just my personal belief, but I don't like any job Period. Life is a very short thing and I would like to enjoy this life but any job that I have had has been mind numbingly horrible. I just don't like working. I am ok with waking up whenever I feel like and spending my days doing things I actually enjoy doing like hiking, playing guitar, and hanging around with common aquaintances. To my knowledge there are alot of people that hate their jobs, but continue to do the work everyday regardless of the mental toll it takes on them. I find this to be completely asinine. I don't want to live off of others tax money and be a welfare case, I just want to be free of any obligation to a work force that I find to be ill suited to my needs, and a complete drain on the lives of our society. I want everyone to just one week to not even think about going and contributing to your job, unless you find your work to be absolutley meaningful and fulfilling. As a medicine sutdent.I find it strange to be the best in difficult lessons.I can get complicated informations very fast and easily while others can't..
but in the same time I may not understand easy issues that lamost everybody can get....
why is that?am I stupid???
