no, it is always about YOU, because even if you do something for someone else, you get personal satisfaction from it. There is no such thing as a truly selfless act (and no, even dying for someone else isn't selfless...because that act elevates your legacy)!

I dont know if we are too selfish as humans beings, but i do think we are too afraid. Afraid of getting hurt, afraid of being alone, afraid of rejection. Personally, I dont try to be "all about me" but I know when I make my decisions, I put my best intrest first. I am deffinately one who is afraid of anything serious. My current boyfriend would say I have selfish or "all about me tenindcies" I just think its called caution. I do consider him and his feeling as well, but Im going to put myself and my feeling first before I commit to anything. Hope that helps :)
