There are loads of reasons, and its obvious to a lot of people that you are not stupid. It could be a lack of focus in that you grasp more complicated things quicker because you dont underestimate the effort you need to put into learning them and you find them more interesting and worthy of your time. Either that or you could be like a friend of mine who always is looking for a more complicated answer or explination than there is...you can handle easy questions but you need to be in the right mind frame. Just think it through and think of the simple answer and how it works just as well and you'll be fine. Congrads, you're a complicated person :o)

Clearly you are not stupid.

The classic reason for this is because simple things are boring. Complicated things hold you interest longer until you understand them, while simple ones don't hold your interest long enough.

Something else to consider is that "complicated" varies. Which is to say some people find algebra complicated, but others think it is easy. So some of the things you claim almost anyone can do, can they really? Is everyone just your fellow class mates? If so then you are cheating yourself by comparing yourself to them. Yes, your classmates may have a better grip on some material, but all of you have a better grip on the material then a high school drop out.

Instead of fretting about this, learn to manage it. Half the battle is won because you have already found the problem. So when you come across an issue you have a hard time with make sure to get extra help.

If you continue to be anxious, talk to people about it. Teachers, fellow classmates, or the school counselors.

No you are not stupid. That happens to me occaisionally too. You are so fascinated by the interesting things in life that you actually want to grasp those concepts. However, some of the "easier" stuff possibly doesn't appeal to you as much, so you aren't as interested. It might be that those people who are interested in the easy stuff aren't as intelligent as you - you're interested in the "hardnut" stuff.

Your probable no longer attempting as annoying on the common issues. while something is complecated, and it takes the extra attempt to determine it out then human beings will submit to in recommendations it better. in case you purely skim via something common you wont keep the inforamtion to boot. that's terrific to flow over uncomplicated issues 2-thrice extra then you think of you may desire to in case you comprehend your having worry with that area.

It would have been better if you'd given at least one example of a easy thing you don't get.

We have to just guess, here.

It might be that you're making simple things complicated when they aren't.

Or they might be things that aren't strictly medical.

As I say, without any examples, it's impossible for us to say.

The process of learning starts from the easiest, easy, easier, difficult, more difficult, and then most difficult. How did you start? If you did not start from the easiest, no wonder.

look at what the easy things have in common.. I bet (just a guess here) they are probably logic based.. and that you are simply overthinking them.

It is focus. Ordinary life is important, too. Maybe not as dramatic, but important.
