Sometimes, when I'm having a dream, I'll realize I'm asleep and in a dream. When I do, I am able to fly and do all kinds of stuff that's a total blast. Usually I fly around which is so fun but I almost always wake up shortly after that. Is that weird though - to be asleep and know it? Has that happened to anyone else?

What makes you tick? What makes you so mad that tears start streaming down your face? What makes you want to rip heads off of the shoulders of people? What makes you want to shout so loud that the world can hear only you?

Now, what do you do when your at your emotional breaking point? Do you punch things? Do you cry? Do you write? Etc.

Why?

Sorry if I'm being nosy, I'm just curious.

I find it very difficult to go out without company. There are many things I want to do-shopping for instance-but I'm reluctant to face people on my own. I don't know, I feel exposed to their hostility and criticism. I do realise that I'm missing too much but I don't have the courage to change. I'm already seeing a therapist and I AM aware that the more out I get the less uncomfortable I'll feel but I just can't do it. Any suggestions?

there were 3 people in wheelchairs. one was a big guy, muscular, one was average, one was small. the people in the wheelchairs were making fun of the people who could walk, just like people who can walk sometimes do. anyway, the biggest one took a small person that could walk and lifted him high above him. the guy was kicking and screaming, trying to get free, but the guy in the wheelchair was just laughing. they took him underwater and they (the people in the wheelchairs seemed to be able to hold their breath easily escept for the smallest one), were sort of torturing the guy that could walk, he couldn't breathe. then, the smallest one in a wheelchair, tripped over a rock underwater and fell over. he couldn't get up and couldn't breathe and blood came out of his ears. i remember something similar happening before in the dream but blood came out of his nose. the biggest person and the average sized person were always in front of the smallest one. the smallest one died in the end, but

Sometime I experience unpleasant dreams, like being chased by zombies, wild animal, enemies etc. In my dreams I always had weapon but I sucked at it. I was so clumsy, missed shooting at them, my legs were so heavy that I couldn't even run away fast enough that I happened to lose the battle. Usually that woke me up and I'd be so angry at myself and couldn't go back to sleep.

But, sometime, when I was really tired I could go back to sleep and continued dreaming, only then I could kick their butts but even in my dream I was not satisfied because I KNEW I redirected that specific scenario to my liking.

Why was I such a loser in my dreams? In real life, I can shoot targets quite good, I'm a fast runner, and proven to know how to defend myself. I'm living a decent happy life and have very little to worry about, but these dreams sometime make me lose sleep and then got me cranky all day.

My ex left me to be with a one night stand, this girl embodied everything he said he never wanted. But she had his child. This happened before him and I got togehter. He was sooooooo depressed over her having the child, because he was ashamed. He frowned upon things like that and girls like that. Yet, he was at fault as well. When he went to be a part of the child's life, he decided to work things out with the mom. Well, I flipped out on him and told him in many horrible words what I thought of him. I never cursed or swore at him. But certainly did after. ANd he told me I verbally abused him!!??? And he couldn't beleive that I was like that, and that he didn't care for girls that cursed. However, it's ok for him to have casual UNPROTECTED sex with some girt he met one night. Was he defended himself, grasping for straws?? Or was he manipulating me into feeling bad or guilty? Or both. They are not together anymore, shockingly. but when I called him out on all this, he was very cold.

Is it just me or are there others out there who are frustrated with the imbeciles that say, "THINK FOR YOURSELF!" YET , those types ALL think exactly alike and don't dare stray from the cliche idea of what is "indivdualism." Truly thinking for yourself means YOU actually think for yourself. Don't take on an opinion that is labeled, "non-conformist" that is still just molding to some other group's ideas. Just because it isn't mainstream dosen't mean it isn't conformity. Besides this whole "alternative" thing...has become mainstream.
Anyway, I just was curious on other people's thoughts on the subject.

would you rather be wise or intelligent?

would you rather be a genius but introverted, or a slick extrovert (like James Bond)

computational speed and memory OR creativity and problem solving ability

go to an ivy league school and do good on tests only because you're discplined and study a lot (but aren't truly intelligent, can't 'absorb information' OR be intelligent and able to 'absorb' information, but lazy and only use your abilities when you are motivated to do so

above average in all fields (math, english, science, etc.) OR very good in one field and average in the rest

photographic memory OR very creative OR good problem solver

great, intriguing philosopher OR intelligent academically/in a certain field (i.e. biochemistry)

everything you want during life but destined to go to Hell OR live a life dedicating yourself to the happiness of others and destined to Heaven (not trying to make this a religious thing, i'm just saying hypothetically if they existed)
