im gonna start working while going to college and trying to maintain a 4 gpa, and being a member of a couple of clubs...any words of encouragement? any advice...?? i want to prove to myself i can do this.

Sounds good if you can make 4.0 without studying. It might work. Otherwise, to keep that kind of gpa, I would reconsider the clubs. And if you must work, take the least amount of hours per semester. The best would be no clubs and no work. The latter might not be possible.

You can do it!!! Unfortunately, this will mean that you are burning the candle at both ends, and your health could suffer due to lack of rest.
If it gets to be too much, you may need to take less classes--or take some self-paced classes or on line classes instead of all traditional classes. With self-paced, on line, and telecourses, you only need to go into the school for exams--the rest of your work is done at home.
I wish you a lot of luck with this. You are bright and ambitious. Just be careful not to burn yourself out...

stay away from smoking, drugs and alcohol, and have a very healthy diet your gonna need the energy.. good luck and stay focused on why your doing all this. Do not let others distract you from your chosen path. And get an organizer so you don't forget stuff.

If I can raise 2 kids hold a job and get a 4.0 you can too!!! Maybe drop the clubs while working.

Eat healthy, sleep enough hours, exercise, stay away from drugs/acohol. And excellent time management. Plan ahead for everything. Good Luck.

listen to me here....no one should know better then yourself of what you can do then yourself. if you want to prove something to yourself then do it, encourage yourself and fight the good fight, don't give up, don't surrender, and just do it already. no one here can make you do. your smart enough from your gpa to know that only you can do and that only you WILL DO IT !!!! so for crying out loud go to bed and when you wake up, come out swinging !!!!
