It's completely normal. Not necessarily a good idea... but normal. By the time a child hits 12 they are somewhere in the puberty stage and get their pleasure phallically. These days especially, environmental terratogens cause puberty to begin earlier than it used to as well so a 12 year old can be further along in the puberty stage than one might think.

i guess it is kind of acceptable, especially if u r guy, because i remember when i was 12, i felt sick about everything like that, but boys are usually bit more ahead in this. but it is completely wrong to have sex at that age. if u will wait another 4 years, u will see, that u didnt miss anything, cause if u do it now, later on, u will realize anyway, that u didnt know, what u were doing. hope this make sence.

Probably normal... everybody is ready at their own unique time; whether it be 12 or 25.. however, since you probably are just beginning puberty I would question whether you actually want to have sex, or you think you should have sex. Remember that it is stupid just to have sex because you think you should and if you do decide to, USE A CONDOM. You don't need any children running around at 12 years old.

It is normal because of hormones and such but it's not too smart as age 12. At the moment a boy or girls maturity level isn't high enough and they don't realize the responsibility that is required. I'd say wait a couple years, it really is worth the wait. You'll find someone you know will be worth doing it with. Do remember the consiquences though if something goes wrong!

Well, it's probably more normal for a boy than a girl because boys tend to explore masturbation earlier. Still, it's not normal or healthy for a 12 year old to actually HAVE sex. Be a kid for a while longer, hon. Why rush adulthood? As soon as you're an adult, you'll start longing for your childhood again.

Yes its normal because your hormones are raging, but with sex comes alot of BIG responsibilities and consiquences like pregnancy and sexual diseases. So put sex off until you of more mature age to handle it and make better choices conccerning it.

I think it is okay to be thinking about it, (I know boys will) but actually doing it is a completely different story.
Children aren't ready at this age, their bodies aren't even fully developed.~

It may not be abnormal--but people of 12 years of age should be doing things like playing sports, babysitting, skating, etc., not thinking about sex.

Your hormones are talking to you way too early. Talk to your parents if you possibly can or your doctor next chance you get.
