If you've got it, count it.

I think counting it everyday may be a bit obsessive. Don't let the money become your focal point. Try to get into the business more and enjoy what you are doing instead of spending your time counting money and thinking about what you've made or lost every single day. Maybe do a count at the end of each week and that will give you something to look forward to and to work towards throughout the week.

Nothing wrong with that--all businesses keep really good track of their money.

Where did the superstition begin (in your life--what age) that if you count it, you'll lose it? For instance, did you witness someone being robbed while counting their money? Did you see someone actually lose money while counting it?

I think that to get of the root of this fear, you would need to go back to the day it began. Perhaps someone who counted their money then made no more money, etc.
