A lot of people say the only people you can and should love unconditionally are your kids.

An argument you can make for this is that if you unconditionally love your kids, you can't unconditionally love anyone else, because you would stop loving them if they hurt your kids, making the love conditional for anyone but them.

I would argue against this in two ways. First, you can love somebody else who's not your kid as much as you'd love your own child, be it a niece or nephew, best friend, or even your boyfriend or girlfriend. You don't call your boyfriend or girlfriend "baby" for nothing.

Second, it's possible to have unconditional love for two people, even if one love is stronger than the other. For example, I love my mom. If I had kids, I'd love them more than I love her.

If my mom did something horrible to my kids, I would avoid her, but I'd still want what was best for her. There's no reason to lose her as well as my kid, even if things could never be the same.

I don't want them to feel stupid coming to my class. I want it to sound official, but appealing. I want them to know that, if they attend my class and seminars, they'll learn techniques to get them laid. But I don't want them to be embarrassed about coming.

I don't really understand how you associate the two....
And I understand the big deal of loosing your virginity, but whats up with innoence. When you think about it virginity seems more like your just having sex, loosing your innoncence seems more like making love......Anyway I need to know how you get innoncence out of virginity. Because I thought innocence being lost was when you did something wrong or dirty, a crime......

Early morning (between midnight and 4am) I was awake using the computer as was usual. I went to the kitchen to get a snack, and as I'm coming back down the hallway, I felt something. You know how even when it's dark, if you're about to bump into something, you can feel it? I looked and saw a shadow in front of me. I figured it was my grandmother and said "Excuse me grandma" and put my hand out to see where she precisely was and there was nothing there and the shadow was gone. Later that week I went to bed, and I was awakened by something forcefully pushing my head backwards. I was laying on my left side, and I thought my grandmother was coming to wake me up for work. It was still pitch dark and something just shoved my head backwards. Sometimes I'll be laying half asleep and feel a heavy weight on my chest and hear really scary voices and feel a presence and try to scream but all that comes out is moans and I am told I cry. So...do these sound like hauntings or something psychological?

That most of the time, good things come when you least expect them?
I really believe in this but truly is this the case for the majority?
Thank you so much for any help you can provide! <3
It is truly appreciated! :-)

I need to write a paper examining a popular or historical figure using Freud's theory, but I can't really think of anyone "screwy" enough to analyze. Not allowed to use Michael Jackson since it's been done so much...any suggestions?

Is it possible that if you think too much, you'll go insane?

Let's say that you ponder upon a certain topic that is very complex and is incomprehensable to the human mind. Will you go insane just thinking intensly day after day?

Or how about thinking about more comprehesible, less complex things. Let's say that there are numerous less complex topics that you think about. You think about an idividual one for a short time, but there are many that you think about.

So will one make you insane, or both?

My uncle says that thinking about complex things a long time, or many less complex things for a long time, can make you insane.

So....Can it?

This is pretty self explanatory, why can other people tickle you on the bottom of your foot or under your armpit or in the sides but if you do it to yourself it doesn't do anything to you?

Patience is the virtue in this as well as willpower, but u must consciously be unaware of the change, otherwise it will confuse u to the point of hysteria.Do not let it gain control over you, you must keep an un-focused picture image in your mind. An image symbollizing the feelings you have. It is difficult, and it takes time, but u must keep concentrating and keep ur stress and frustrations at bay,-

Do you have an escape plan? Those on a hypothetical plain need not answer. I'm seeking real answers. Those who think that the inevitible isn't near, think again. I'm so sick of hearing what this government can do for us and taking shortcuts to allieviate the process, when in reality, it's a complete failure. The governments facade is falling. Let's face it, we are always going to be in conflicts. It's just going to get worse from here and it's only the beginning of the worst. I don't need to know anymore than what I already know. It's not going to change for the better. You're just kidding yourself, if you think it is.

Warning: No huge spoilers, but I do talk about some of the fight scenes. Theres like 70 minutes of battle, but I feel I should still warn people.

Normally, I doubt many people would find such manslaughter to be funny. In fact, when Leonidas kicks the messanger in the well, a part of me said "That guy just got owned," and another said "...dude was only a messanger! chill out! damn!"

What makes scenes where a guys leg is chopped off hilarious in a movie? Like the part where Leonidas was just muchin on his apple like it was all good, but they were stabbing guys in the background? I chuckled. In fact, that just might be my favorite scene because of its irony.

Now, same situation in real life, and I would probably throw up in my mouth a little, walk aimlessly for a minute or two, and pass out.

So, is it because people know that it is just fake images that they are able to laugh at it, or at least shrug it off? Or is there something else?

I know other people have asked this. I know the best thing would be to leave him alone, but as I said I can't exactly do that. I have to deal with him all the time. He doesn't pay child support and never had a consistant job. We recently started talking again-I really wanted to forgive him and try to be friends-nothing more! Then he lies to me about losing his job-then procedes to tell me he got another one that he didn't. I really had a hard time trusting anything he said before-but now I'm infuriated that after I exuasted myself trying to be his friend for my daughters sake he lies to me. I told him I would appreciate him appologizing to me but he got defensive and started yelling. I want to set a good example since I'm a Christain but I really just want to yell at him. I know this does no good because he doesn't feel any remorse. How do I deal with the constant lying. I really want to call him out on it-when I try to he says well you know everything you tell me!
