That most of the time, good things come when you least expect them?
I really believe in this but truly is this the case for the majority?

Yes..statistically speaking...your life is complicated with all kinds of decisions to be made, menial tasks..eating, sleeping, work. The majority of time one doesn't sit around and think "OK, I am ready for something good to come along...". We might only spend 5 minutes (and that's a lot) a day thinking this so statistically there is 23 hours and 55 minutes left over. Chances are the good things that happened will happen when?....When you least expect them.

I think it is when least expected that good things come, yes. Whenever i find myself saying "This is awful." something beautiful happens. Good question :]
