Do you have an escape plan? Those on a hypothetical plain need not answer. I'm seeking real answers. Those who think that the inevitible isn't near, think again. I'm so sick of hearing what this government can do for us and taking shortcuts to allieviate the process, when in reality, it's a complete failure. The governments facade is falling. Let's face it, we are always going to be in conflicts. It's just going to get worse from here and it's only the beginning of the worst. I don't need to know anymore than what I already know. It's not going to change for the better. You're just kidding yourself, if you think it is.

Living in the LA area of California, I do have a plan, for earthquakes. A lot of people in my apartment complex don't and I can't prepare for the entire block.
One of the problems is I live on the top floor and the complex has underground parking. The building will probably fall to the east because of the way the building is constructed. So survival gear is kept on the west side.
No guns or ammo. You do have me thinking, I need to update my supplies, cycle out the older food and water, make sure the bandages are still sticky. Cooking supplies, sterno, etc. Only have enough for three days though. I may want to make that more, but I want to have it portable, so I can move with all supplies without getting bogged down. Tent, that sort of thing you know.
Yup, we haven't had a good sized rumbler out here for a while. We are about due again.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

Though I do not know your Beliefs, I can say that you are correct. One day we will face our worst fears in America.
(to enlighten my fellow Christians, any time in History of civilization that a nation of peoples denied or turned their backs on God, They were smote.) My family has a shelter, with food, Air, and Water supplies. First Aid and related Medical. Plenty of fire power and ammo. and I am wise to the making and use of low and high end explosives. Not that I would ever want to use this knowledge for any reason, but none the less I have the knowledge should such a terrible time arrive. I will protect my Family. We all have the right to protect Self, Home and country against all enemies both foreign and Domestic. Bottom line is in such a time, every man is on their own to protect what is theirs, A close knit association or network of Family and friends is your best line of defense, next to mental and physical preparedness.

Well my personal plan is that well...i dont have a plan...I am counting on the fact that survival is an instinct and well the time will come when times will require drastic measures for survival but for now i am just relaxing and enjoying the fact that life isnt a struggle for survival...i mean every day is a day to survive i guess what your saying is when survival will be exclusivly for those who are in a sense "fit"....well those who will survive congrats fellows and for those who dont...you should have had a plan haha...

Lighten up fellow
If you go through life with all that doom and gloom, you are going to have a cruddy life. not to mention putting off the people around you.
The world has survived, floods and famine, and war, and depressions, and pestilence, and deadly plagues. No one was prepared, most got through it, and most are happy that they survived.. But you who haven't experienced any of this , are in a deep funk.
