What i would do is watch something funny for a little while and then i tend to forget about it. If that doesn't seem to do the trick then i sometimes play music to help me fall asleep!!!

for me the best way to forget a very creepy movie watch you fav. movie (not creepy) and watch it over and over again. When I was little i would sleep with a bear or somethink. Did you try a night light? Hope one of these thinks will help you forget a that creepy book and movie!!

Find something ridiculously funny about what you saw. Think about the special effects that made it look creepy. That might loosen its power.

In the future, you might watch stuff like that earlier in the day instead of close to bedtime.

First of all, don't watch or read creepy stuff before bed. You could watch something else before you go to sleep to help you forget it, a comedy or something cheerful.

You have to remember that YOU CAN control your mind. It may be hard, but just think of happy things. Think of your friends, your dog, a good day you had, and if you are religious praying/reading the bible is always helpful. Just don't let yourself freak yourself out, it's very easy to do. BUT YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOUR OWN MIND. You can control your fear, believe in yourself. Think positive and happy things, and if you need to..just count sheep in your head to prevent you from thinking about anything else. close your eyes and picture the sheep and count each one..soon enough you'll be asleep and not worrying yourself about stupid little things;)

I'm like that too :( And I always get the stupidest urges to watch or read creepy things before bed.

Try to think of stupid or funny things, sing to yourself, leave a light on, or leave a tv on (if you have one in your room).

Read the comics (I know it sounds silly..but it may work) or watch a funny tv program right before you go to sleep, or study. That way your mind will relax and be at ease.

Right after you watch a scary movie, watch a funny one to get your mind off of it. Like Big mamas house

It must be all relative, I watched Faces of Death series last night, and slept like a baby. I guess watch something funny, like comedy improv, or something, it will help you out.
