ie: everyone else through childhood use of mirrors forms a fabricated imagined self which he thinks of as himself, and which he assumes rests on the top of his neck. but that is only an 3rd party bystanders view of what he looks like. i was wondering what a blind persons experience of self was like...having not gone through the process of forming a fabricated self, that is the result of memorising your image in a mirror to use as the reference point for your internal self image.

Despite the question, I don't know it is *bad* that I am Naive.

I kinda knew... but in being with my new "girlfriend" she made the observation of how Naive I am.

Maybe some of you have experience here either observing it, or learning NOT to be?? If that is even possible.??

I do look at life as half-full despite all the incredibly hard knocks. But how do I come off as not immature or the bad side of being naive? I am very trusting until someone gives me a reason not to trust.. of course in that case the criminals probably love targets like me for example cause you only *need* to be fooled once.

Any advice?

Do you think Fear, Laughter, and Love have their own memory spots in the brain? and that they aren't just connected to the regualr spot in the brain where memory is placed?
I read an article saying that an experiment conducted over 100 years ago a patient with sever memory loss, had a doctor and the doctor would come in everyday and say his name and put out his hand to shake hers. Then he would come in 15 minutes later and she would not know who he was. Then one day he did the same thing except when he put his hand out he had a pin attached to it and it poked the patient and she screamed. Then as he always did he came back in 15 minutes later, she had no idea who he was, he had removed the pin from his hand and he placed his hand out but the patient would not put her hand out for some reason. Why did she do this if she can't remeber anything? I just want to see peoples thinking on fear memory.

Can you help me please with this anxiety? I have this unusual problem?
I get sooooo anxious sometimes with some men. But its not what you think. I don't like them AT ALL. I get some of the symptoms of anxiety that they interpret as "I like them" but I DON'T I swear to God!!! Its a phobia but it is worse because of my interpretation of what they think of me (Its wrong) And I get embarrassed. Please please help...this has been going on for years...

I used to have a terrable dream where i am being chased through the woods or jungle by a beast until i come to a cliff and had to jump to my death or face the beast. I couldn't face the beast so had to jump but always woke up before hitting the bottom. Over the years i managed to train the dream and landed with out dying. Never had the dream since!
Another one i had was when i was sleeping i had stuck my fingers into an electric socket and was electricuted. I jumped up physically from lying position in bed and landed on floor at bottom? Now thats fright!
Another one i used to have was when i was a wee boy of five or six and that was being sent to school naked!! This was awful but soon wore off.

Does any one have any idea what all these mean?

i call this guy just to hear his voice for some seconds and then i cut the phone without saying anything and this happens every day ..he is in another country far away from me and im spending too much money just to hear him saying hello ..the problem is that he has got a gf .so .i should stop it ...i just dont know how..his voice gives me so much pleasure and thats why i cant stop it .iv been trying to like the other guys but i just prefer day dreaming about him and repeating his voice in my ear....i need help!

My mother constantly criticises everything about me and everything I do. She acts like the good things about me and my actions don't really matter. It makes me feel like I have nothing to feel proud about and I can't help thinking that she's probably right. In Pychology class, we were discussing about pupils and attraction. we looked at identical pictures of models from adds like Victoria's secret and armani. The difference was the pupil's, all the guys didn't want to judge the guy, 'this is gay.'

second, I was in the school jazz band, which don't play jazz, but rock. So it's really the rack band. My best friend plays guitar...Our school had a trip to disney land for all the music students... in the hotel, they had one floor for the boys one for the girls... makes sense. But they had a certain amount of room, so they had four to a room. The girls had no problem sleeping together. The guys on the other hand did... a lot. There were couple of fights. my best friend was stuck with two gay guys, and one nerdy geeky kid. The guys were aloud to visit the girls but the door had to be opened. We let him borrow our extra cot... but I thought it was funny that the guys reacted like they did, is it maturity or is it some sort Psycho-sexual thing?
