It's pretty much impossible to draw a perfect circle is what that saying means. It's not REALLY talking about being a genius or a psychopath; it's just saying that there's maybe one person in a billion who can draw a perfect circle.
Contrary to what someone said above, it is possible. Just because Pi is infinite doesn't mean it can't happen. Pi was calculated from looking at circles in real life, not the other way around. :)

It's just a vague correlation mistaken for an indicator. Just because geniuses and psychopaths are more likley to be able to draw a perfect circle, does not mean that one who can draw a circle is a genius or a psychopath.

I have never heard of a connection either way. I can say that I've seen someone do it. He's of above average intellect, but not a genius... and as long as I have know him he hasnt shown any behavior that could be interpereted as psychopathic. I'm sure this is something that if practiced enough, could be done by many people, psycho or not

Being able to draw a "perfect" circle is more about hand/eye coordination than anything else. I doubt that being a genius or a psychopath can have that big of an impact on your hand/eye coordination.

There is no such thing as a perfect circle... This goes back to philosophy which Plato talked about the perfect spheare which is the perfect circle.. You can imagine it in your mind, but you can't actually draw it, because in the physical world everything has an edge or a smug and it doesn't exist in the physical world...
Yes, you can think of the perfect circle, but it can't be drawn in the physical world...

I am under the impression that there is no such thing as a "perfect" circle as the formula for Pi is infinite. 3.14159....... you can carry the numbers behind the decimal forever and there is NEVER a perfect circle.
I think you got a hold of a wive's tale. I know lots of people who are in Mensa and are geniuses who can't draw a straight line much less a circle. Lots of psychopaths can't either. Your information is faulty. Surely its just superstition.
