how do you deal with the lack of "miracles" in your life: no one to fall in love with, not getting the job you want but you're trying as much as you can, your "friend" is only with her boyfriend, your family life's not nice, etc...

some of we ladies constantly strive to be just as good as if not better than a man...at his job, do we really need to prove our capabilities outside of the bedroom, and in the boardroom, do guys find female bosses who are heavy handed appealing....can men and women ever really be equal.

i just hate it: why are we created in such a way that looks have to matter. why isn't it all about the inner beauty.

please don't write about the inner beauty taking the lead. Sure, you can immediately start to dislike someone even if they look great but appear arrogant, self-centred, etc...but the inner beauty unfortunately isn't enough all the time.

Back in square bashing days in the RAF, my flight was interviewed by the station phsychologist. He asked everyone this questioin. What does it mean, why would you ask and what's your answer. I said it depened on whether or not they were Heinz or jumping beans I didn't get promoted.

I am a university student and i was offered a place to stay on Campus.However they offered me the place after the academic term started ,i had to find a place to stay.So I have renewed my contract with my current landlord and I need a confirmation letter from him to prove that he will let me go.I didn't talk to him yet.How can I persuade him to cancel the contract and let me go?I really really need to be on campus,because of my overloaded labwork.I didn't have any problems with him as a tenant last year,i speak the same language as he do and I know his favourite football team and i guess that's all I know about him.I know i need to talk in terms of what he wants ,but I can's see any reason why he would let me go.

Hey, I'm a woman and it keeps me wonder why guys are afraid of virgins. A guy I met on line wanted to get intimate with me, but he backed off simply because I'm a virgin!!! He told me it's too much a responsibility to get intimate with a virgin!!! I don't get it, so I'd like to ask people, guys and women, for your opinion on this. Thanks a lot for sharing.

There was a man that I slowly got to know and got along with.
However, there was a period of time (perhaps, wks. months, yrs?) that we were separated. Anyway, one day I heard he was in danger and I traveled across "many lands" (sounds vague, I know) to find him.

To make a long story short, when I finally reached him, we both stood face to face with deep longing in our eyes, and suddenly I rushed to him and kissed and embraced him tightly. He returned the embrace and we stayed like that for a while.

There was so much emotion that rushed through my body--it was as though I loved him.

What could it mean? (Sorry for the vagueness of the story--it's all I could remember)

Everyone has try to talk to him but he refuse to open up and tell things to anyone.

He did tell few things to his girlfriend but not as much as he did to his grandma.

What could be making him comfort to talk with my mother? I've tried to use same approach and it didn't work, I've tried everything and nothing work. I hope that he could at least open up a bit and let us know a bit more about what is going on with him.

I'm a very senstive person. Some would say I'm hyper senstiive. When someone hurts my feelings or if I get dumped by a guy I usually cry about it. It takes me a long time to forget about something if someone hurts my feelings. I bottle up my emotions frequently. How do I learn to become more stronger emtionally and less hyper sensitive?
