That in of its self can be considered a racist statement.
I'm white and I'm not in the least bit racist and I don't feel that I'm superior to any other race/religion/or creed. I do find that its not only whites that can be racist, but all races are racist.

Although there are racists out there of every race, I don't think you can generalize and say white people are racist. I am white, and I don't have a racist bone in my body. I try not to judge people period, because I believe that most people are good. We all have issues, and it is not always understandable why some people are the way they are, but there are reasons. When I meet someone of another race, I don't even think about the fact that they are of another race. No one I associate with is racist either. If I find out that they are, I will disassociate myself from them.

I think one of the reasons some people are racist however, has to do with economics. When I was an undergrad studying criminal justice, we learned that crime usually occurs in lower socioeconomic areas. Because non-whites have more struggles economically than whites, there are a lot of areas where non-whites live that are low income. These areas have more crime, and ignorant people assume that is it because of their race. It is really because with low income comes less familial structure and stability, and a hence higher crime rate.

No one is superior to anyone else! People that think that they are superior to other people are self-righteous and ignorant. After all, how can you think you are better than someone else when you have never walked in their shoes.

Until people like you stop generalizing people this country will never over come racism. Not all "white" people are racist- Not all "black" people are racist. But some are. And its sad. So, really, if you think that all white people are racist, your sadly mistaken. How can we keep conviencing minorities that we do care about their rights when they keep saying we dont? (those of us that think Pres. Bush Admin is horrible, we wont mention Katrina) I'm done trying to please them. Im not a proud white person or anything like that. If I meet a black person and they are cool, then whatever skin doesnt matter. But I wont kiss anyones *** either- white or black or brown- whatever. Maybe thats why you think white people are racist. But, ive met a few old fashioned black folks who hate whites. Can I really blame them, No. But, only way we are gonna stop racism is through education, and STOP GENERALIZING PEOPLE!

I am white. I am not racist. I see myself superior to no one. I do see myself in comaprision to others, but not based on race, sex, or nationality. I question your level of racism to make such a comment though. When one puts people into groups, an error is made. I am white, but I am like no one. I do not behave as a "white" person; there is no "white" behavoir. To ask why white people are racist, is a statement of racism on your own part.

I don't know what circles you travel in or what someone has told you about white people, but - honestly - most white people are not at all racist, and most do not believe they are superior to anyone else.

(Its true that there are some people - of any color - who may think they're superior to other people, but for the most part it has nothing to do with what color someone is.)

I'm sorry that you think that all white people are racist, they're not. For that matter, racism is not just a "white" thing. Racism is anywhere and everywhere. I'm white and I don't think myself superior to anyone. Skin color doesn't matter to me. I'm just like everyone else.

For the record, it doesn't matter what color skin or where you’re from... all are & can be racist... and society creates racism. No one should get special treatment just because of where there from or what they look like...but that would be a very diverse and perfect world... just like racism for disabled pple.... racism/ predigest comes in all forms.

I'm white but am not racist, I enjoy meeting people of all cultures, but as far as your question goes it is not only whites that are the racist ones.

I don't think all whites are rascist. its just the minority who are so up themselves. nothing makes them so superior unless you look up to them as one. treat them as your own kind, and if they tend to be so high, prove them wrong!
