i m lecturer and i teach psychology i need explanation of figure ground relationship in principles of perception to make my concept more clear to teach better to my students.

I think the basic principles of perception would evolve from how one actually "read" and "adjudge" others through different modes like: appearance, body language, speech, dress styles, work and even sexuality and to build a conceptual issues to describe mostly about its mechanism. Perception is not about the external description of the features. It is the understanding of the knowledge and an expression of one's thoughts on the topic.
