from a psychological point of view, i mean
it doesn't matter if it is totally obvious, but you could tell me how you've found it out
for example, i have just established that there is no use in trying to figure out someone's reason for doing something... cause i'll never ever know for sure
so.. what's your must-know thought?

I was in a room with two bald guys and they were trying to jump me....but then I told them that I could help them if they didn't hamr me. They took me to their boss and the boss was one huge ugly guy with shades. Then all of a sudden two beautiful women came in and started teasing me and they had two orange parrots with them (one each). The parrots repeated everything the girls said. Then the two big mean guys took me downstairs to bake a cake and told me that I would have to cook for the boss. The next day I ran away from the place (it was hulla creepy) and I settled into a rundown apartment. Little did I know that one of the showgirls had followed me and threatened to turn me in. I bribed her by saying that I would give her true love if she didn't turn me in. Then we made love and I got sick of her and she was a traitor for trying to run away (she didn't make it cuz I fed her to the cows). Then I went back to my apartment and invited my friend over from UCLA and we drank some tea.

Every time somebody tries to come up with a decent satire about Clueless George and the bush-league, they do something that outstrips the most bizarre imagination. And of course the deadheads that are loudest on this site, being functionally illiterate, take a lot of the fun out of it by being so very predictable.
So, is Bush too much of a flaming idiot to satirize? Is it just a waste of time?

He has slammed a door at my face. I let him cool off but later on he said I should have gone after him to talk. I was afraid he would do more than slam doors if I had confronted him, but he swears he would never lay a hand on me in anger, no matter how angry he was. By the way he slammed the door cause I invited him to be alone with me in bedroom and he has watching tv with his kids.
. He thought I was making plans to take him away from his kids. He is going through money problems and losing a job, so he is under more stress than normal. How do I find out if I have to worry about his anger or not? Is that normal or does he have anger issues?

My friend moved to newcastle last year. This year however I found out that she is missing and I dont even know if she ran away or was kidnapped...
I just found out from friends this morning, and shes been missing at least 1 day...

It really hurts because I have her old number and not her new number and no1 wld give me her number and I know she reads the SMS and probably replies to them and they are lying to me. She was my only ever friend, she wasnt someone who wld ever backstab me.

I dont know what else to say... Please help me deal with this, and if you think there is anything I can do please tell me. I cant not worry, because that is very hard for me

My husband has a strange relationship with his father, where I almost have to compete with him for my husbands attention. Many other people have told me it seems like my husband and his father have a strange almost in-love relationship instead of love relationship. My husband left for the military right after high school for almost 7 years and now that he is closer to where his father lives I notice this strange relationship more. I don't have any brothers so I was never around a father son relationship, but others including my own father have seen this relationship as strange. I don't know if it could be caused by a disorder or missed childhood stage. I am not sure.

Sometimes I catch myself grimacing in various ways when doing something tedious, like (for instance) painting along a window and not using masking or painters tape. I have often wondered what this action accomplishes.

the score is placed between 117- and 121:117,118,120,120,120,120,121,119,120,etc. Take in consideration that the tests are not related to each other by any way. Do I have something to fear because of these scores?

When you really think about it, isn't it always the ones who feel some need to conform or do not think for themselves have the compulsion to join up?? That goes for any organization including fraternities/sororities, cliques, "special interest" groups, etc.

I'm an undergraduate in Pyschology. Religion and the human brain has always intrigue me. What does religion play in the development of personality and character?
When some believers had some mystic "fly out of the body" or " getting high" experience, is there any scientific evidence to show this. Is it some neuro-disorder or mental instability?

From my weekly observation of charismatic christians, they seemed to be in a state of euphoria with the loud/rock music. The music gets ever louder, and it seems that more rock, more of that "opmh" in the music is needed to drive them; sounds like a building of tolerance to stimulants, with a vague similarity to people taking drugs.

And religious fanaticism; i compared it to alocholism. We know that alocholism is an abuse of alcohol. Religious fanaticism is basically an abuse of religion, to justify one's actions and criminal behaviour with God's or a higher being's acceptance.

I need to write a paper on Schizophrenia, and the first thing I need to do is to define it. However, I'm not really sure if it is an actual disorder or just a group of disorders. Shouln't you say "my friend has a schizophrenic disorder," instead of "my friend has Schizophrenia"?
The bottom line is that I don't even know how to define it. Does anybody know a web page that explains this in a simple way?

Ive got my dependency confused with love,
my underconfidence with my humility,
my needs with my nicecity,
my fear with my anger,
my weaknesses with my depth,
my selfishness with my bonding,
my skin is like a reptile's,
its dead from the outside,
Im waiting for it to shed,
but beneath is too soft and tender,
I dont want to reveal myself.
Im too sensitive for that.
I still have hope,
I still pray,
U laugh?
What else can I do?
I have to keep going,
although I khow,
Im only.... moving in a circle.

Its so simple to get most people to conform to things like a political view point or, you will do something then someone else mimics you why is that? Some people are so easily fooled like me and you for instance, but do you think that we can be programed to think in a certain way or react in a certain way well I believe we can and we are by the fedaral government. I am almost 99.9% postive that they are monitoring what we say and what we are saying that is one of the reasons I believe for this website to see what we are concerned about what we talk about its mind- blowing how people can so easily be controlled and its happening everyday. I was wondering what your view is on this particular subject? Also how do you like your life being controlled in basicually every aspect , I just thought I would throw that one in there to.

a guy had a dream that he was in his dorm room sleeping, and he woke up to hear 3 guys giggling under a blanket in the room. one of the guys was his (straight) roommate. so he gets up and goes to the bed that has his rooommate and 2 other guys and he tries to sieze them from doing what they're doing, but they just fend him off. then he goes out into the hall and calls the monitor, but he wakes up. what does this mean? and please don't say the guy is gay, cuz he's not. can anyone (serious) interpret this for me?

I really don't understand this, I mean it makes as much sense to me as if someone said he his proud to have brown hair or proud to have green eyes or is proud to be tall or whatever... I mean it is not a matter of pride...
So my question is really what do they mean by this? Why is someone proud that his skin is bright or dark?
There was a discussion in a previous question if it is racist when a whites says he is proud on his race and most people said no and you can say it without devaluating others. So I assume there are people who say they are proud on their race and don't mean they are better than others.
But what do they mean?
