Just act like nothing happened, and if the topic comes up, just talk about it freely. The fact that you approach the topic in such a casual and confident way, the people around you question their reaction's validity, thus minimizing the embarrassing factor of your actions upon you.

There's no other way. You can keep analyzing it, and feel even more embarrassed, but that just sets you back in whatever you try to achieve.

Good luck.

just try to laugh at yourself and admit that Yeah it was embarassing, But Your still alive! no body ever dies when there really embarassed... even if it feels like it inside... try not to put so much thought into whatever happend.... and don't tell anyone you situation because then they might bring it up and well it will never stop, they will always remind about what happen... just keep it to yourself and live long as it should be... have fun, and don't regret anything that you did because it happen for a reason and you will only get stronger from this situation..

Accept the fact that life is not perfect and neither are we. We all make mistakes and we all have to put the past behind us and move forward. It's just another part of growing up.

Lord knows I have done some really stupid things too.

Sorry to say but it takes time...

Soemthing embaressing happened to me a few months ago and I get horrible flash backs from it. Actually another way which may seem strange, but should help is to tell everyone you know about it! And have a laugh at yourself, and it won't be as bad as you think.

Just laugh about it and say, "sheesh... and it had to be me. But!!! past is past." then laughs again. It's not easy to forget though. I'd still feel embarrassed whenever I'm reminded of such an embarrassing situation, but it doesn't really last long and I just pretend that it's only me who knows and remembers it.

just apoligize if you feel it necessary and appropriate. then just go about your life as if nothing happened. we all make mistakes, we're human you know. of course if your family or close friends witnessed this moment in history, then i suppose you will have to put up with some good hearted abuse for awhile. just laugh WITH them and don't let them laugh AT you. good luck. remember that this is just a minor episode in this road we travel in life.

i don't really get embarrassed to easily, just laugh it off. If need be try to get away for a weekend or something to relax. There are other ways it depends on what happened.

I tell everybody and laugh about it with them. That way I get over it, and they don't talk about it like its a secret or some big event i'm trying to hide.
