from a psychological point of view, i mean
it doesn't matter if it is totally obvious, but you could tell me how you've found it out
for example, i have just established that there is no use in trying to figure out someone's reason for doing something... cause i'll never ever know for sure
so.. what's your must-know thought?

The first person said it best:

I am responsible for everything that happens to me.

If something bad happens to me, it is because of errors in my model of the environment.

This put in simpler terms: If someone behaves in a way that is shocking to me, and I feel disappointed, then I realize that the only reason I feel that way is that I didn't see the other person's motives/reasons clear enough.

I know I can never map a person's actions, I can never figure out a person's behavior 100%. But the people in which I sense value, I keep close to myself, and put extra effort into removing their volatility in my life.

That there is absolutely no way one person can put himself in the shoes of another in order to understand why that other person may do something, and that very often if a person were in those shoes he would very likely do exactly the same thing (even though he cannot imagine himself doing so) - so don't judge people and don't feel self-righteous if someone else has some problem in their life that you don't have (and therefore can't understand).

As I've lived life I have really learnt the saying "You can't judge a book by its cover" to be true. Some attractive looking people are not nice people at all. Some disabled, older or unattractive people can be great souls. We have to learn to look past it. Now I understand many years ago when John Lennon invented "bag-ism" where people gathered together and put bags over their heads, so they all had interesting conversations without actually knowing what each other looked like.

well i know that some people reason differently because of a few things im goping to mention two of them. one is ethical standpoint, if one believes it is either ethical or not ethical to act on something will decide whether or not they will. another reason is the "nurture" part. this can mean any number of things such as upbringing which also affects the ethical standpoint. also it could be some jungian message or whatever.

People have free will and when someone chooses to do something, it's very difficult to convince them to do otherwise. Many people instead think that someone's psychology is so heavily influenced by genetics and their past and present environments that they can be influenced, but I think free will still reigns supreme.
