Human rights refers to "the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled, people sometimes take advantage of these, often held to include the right to life and liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equality before the law."[1] The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."[2]

"Girls can wear jeans
And cut their hair short
Wear shirts and boots
'Cause it's okay to be a boy
But for a boy to look like a girl is degrading
'Cause you think that being a girl is degrading
But secretly you'd love to know what it's like
Wouldn't you
What it feels like for a girl"

- the cement garden

do you agree with it?

i interviewed a 50 elementary students on what they would do if they woke up the opposite sex. they girls typically felt they would have more freedom and abilities, but the boys rarely had anything positive to say. some even say they would kill themselves.

Would you actually wait for marriage to have sex if that is what the woman wanted to do?

I just saw a question about women feeling entitled to a relationship following sex. I happen to disagree; I don't think it's necessarily the woman who always wants more.

What's your opinion? Can women have a sexual relationship without needing him to be committed and exclusive? Can men handle such relationships, if she doesn't wish to be committed? Personal experiences, stories are welcome.

This may surprise feminists, but according to a recent survey, women were found to be more likely to commit nonreciprocal domestic violence against their partner, than men.

Do feminists think we should continue to ignore domestic violence that women commit against men? We still live in a world where men who are abused by their girlfriends and wives are not taken seriously, and are ridiculed. Feminists often do not take male abuse victims seriously.

answerers chart? It says it's updated daily, but my name is never on it. There are answerers on this chart that have less best answers than I do. I'm just wondering, who is actually updating this and why is the list always wrong?

(And no, it's not a big deal to me, I'm just wondering, that's all.)

Now in my state if I am the victim of DV I cannot get services but my dog can. You can't tell me that DV against men does not exist and not one single man could benefit from public DV services, yet if any man was in need of this type of service he would be refused.
You all can try and justify it by saying that it is not a substancial problem enough to receive state funds but then again you would be saying that the men who are victim of DV don't matter enough and should not matter enough to receive any type of help.
How is that an inaccurate accessment? If poverty was a very small problem affecting a very few number of people would you advocate disallowing those affected by it any type of service?

My question is why ?

I grew up in a Third World country, and there the cruelty of women is more explicit. Among me and my schoolmates, everyone agreed that their mothers punished more severely and often in merciless fits of rage.

In school, the most feared teachers and the ones who beat the most were all female.(In my country, teachers are allowed to discipline students)

Feminists try to rationalize it by saying nonsense like "oh, women spend more time with the children than men, that's why they beat them more. But it's not about quanitity, it's about the severity of the punishment.

I've personally witnessed some rather cruel beatings by my neighbor's mothers in my childhood (beating with rope, beating with buckle end, beating with high heel shoes and other things that would make you guys cringe )

One of the men who helped saved Western civilization from the nazis, made speeches against women's suffrage earlier in his career.

Now you do.

Despite the efforts of feminists to distort, misrepresent, and the CENSOR views which challenge theirs.

Dove's Beauty Campaign advertisments are sexist. chauvinistic, and totally degrading to women.
What does being half-naked, and/or naked on national television, in magazines, pamplets, and mail in coupons have to do with self esteem and confidence?
Also, Dove's so-called campaign for " real beauty " is mostly ugly. There is nothing healthy about being overweight, fat, and/or obese with cellulite and high percentage of body fat.
Being healthy, excepting yourself for who you are and being happy shouldn't be the grotesque examples Dove has shown.
Being healthy without being too scrawny like the unrealistic examples shown by modelling agencies is being fit by having lean, firm, well-toned, solid healthy muscle tone.
Muscle weighs more than fat however it's much smaller than fat. It's also healthier than fat, although we do need a little fat to function plus some vitamins are fat soluble so we need some fat to absorb them. You'll have problems with too much fat, like those Dove broads.

How many people who are regulars here suffer from migraines, kidney stones and even depression?
Or even if you have another health problem, you're welcome to say that if you'd like. Sorry if I appear nosy, but am noticing a pattern amongst some of the Gws regulars.
