It was infatuation.
Burton admitted to that.
Celt.
Welsh.
Fine actor.
Problematic as an actor.
Elizabeth had beauty.
Knew and played the system.
They NEVER made a fine couple.
You need to do some research on this.

They were good looking people but I would not have wanted to be one of their children as they were often very combative. There was certainly a lot of drama not only in their careers but in their personal lives. They couldn't seem to decide whether they could get along or not. From what I've read he had quite a temper and was very moody. She was very much in love with producer Mike Todd who died suddenly in an accident. So to answer your question I think they were both very passionate people but I'm not sure I would call that type of relationship "true love".
