Just to clear it up, I do NOT agree with the fact that religion use discrimination against women. I am a feminist and I just don't understand how women can still be religious when religion treats them so badly.

obviously this dont apply to all women. but in general men are naturally born stronger. which is unfair cz we got all these rapists, women beaters an stuff, and in many cases the women is unable to defend her self. Why are men stronger?

In a polarized atmoshere such as this one, it would be attractive to block out all users with opposing views and then post irresponsible rhetoric to further one's own cause. To what extent do you think this is happening in Gender Studies?
The benefit seems obvious enough. But what harm can it do?

These are toxic, abusive, anti-social people. Some women even brag about the fact that they are dating a bad boy. This is not something to brag about... its something to be ashamed of.

Your thoughts?

Why do women often wear high heels even if they are not comfortable? I think that women like to be taller than the men because it confers them superiority and put the shorter man in embarassement. Is this true? Are there women who like to stand over the males?

I keep seeing this question about how dumb women are for thinking they can change men. Do some men think they can change women? Why or why not?

These movies are harmfull!! I am a woman and when I see a movie like this I get very angry and upset. Especially that men enjoy seeing women raped and tortured. Teenage boys love these movies and that's why they have no respect for women!!! Show a movie of bad things happening to men by women and then it will be banned!

exchange student (I was as pure as the driven snow) and I received intensive counseling years later, but have never shaken the experience or gone back to feeling normal. I actually feel kind of a physical sense of loss or something I can't quite describe in the private region. I just can't believe that one second can change one's whole life. I did make the decision at the time to just "go through with it" and that it "really didn't matter" (his words actually) and so feel it was partially my fault. Yet it turned what was once an open and friendly girl toward men into someone who feels ugly, changed beyond remedy, and simply not comfortable joking or flirting with men - I have not have a boyfriend since - and never married (I am middle-aged now). I also never pursued my career (I am a lawyer). So now here I am at middle-age feeling my life was robbed of me. I have decided to pursue my legal career with a vengeance, but can anyone provide re: my sadness at never marrying?

Now a days' women are as independent, social power, strong minded as men. But for biological reason, it is not possible for a woman to feel sexually attracted towards a man who is weaker minded than her. So there are many women who can not mate with a man who is stronger than her due to shortage of that types of man. So does not women liberation and empowerment cause loneliness?

Why do these young ladies think it's great to show all your stuff like that? What accomplishments, if they think, does it do? Don't they know that me, personally, when I see that i feel embarrass for them. They so cheap and easy. Why do women do this?

I work in an office environment and one of my best friends was given a notice that her shirt must cover her entire chest. There was even an office notice that was sent out warning the women here about the dress code. Yet there are 3 women here that are large and you can always see there cleavage and still nothing is done.

I see a lot of women seem to be really offended by what some of these guys say. Personally, they all sound very frustrated to me. Men cannot figure us out so in order to feel powerful they try to make us feel horrible. Don't let them get to you!

Don't you agree girls?

Why do you think it is so hard for anti-feminists to accept that feminists support *women* and *men* who's ultimate desire is to be married and a parent?

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) was signed by President Clinton in 1993 and guarantees up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave for any of the following circumstances: the *employee's* own serious illness, to care for a child, to care for a spouse or parent with a serious medical condition, or to care for a newborn, newly adopted child or newly placed foster child.

FMLA applies to any worker, whether they are male or female, and NOW and many feminist organizations have supported FMLA for years. Why would anyone be against it? It supports working *families*, not just women or men. Here's more info about FMLA requirements, effects, and history:

Ok hes started calling me fat on a few of his messages and I'm getting really upset cos I know I'm average size but I used to have problems with anorexia when I was younger.

Am I wrong to feel bad about this guy or would you consider this too far? I've had a really bad week and I just don't think he should be allowed to speak to me like this, what do you think?

How do you define a masculinist? What is the opposite of a masculinist?

Someone asked what the opposite of a feminist was, so I thought it would be interesting to ask a similar question about masculinists.

First I though "Public Restrooms", but you all said you don't peek.

Then I thought porno films ... but it seems men have been insecure about their size way before the Internet ... so I'm left wondering, how does a man know if his size is big/ medium/ small ... and why does this make or break some men?
