I see a lot of women seem to be really offended by what some of these guys say. Personally, they all sound very frustrated to me. Men cannot figure us out so in order to feel powerful they try to make us feel horrible. Don't let them get to you!

Don't you agree girls?

I do agree that guys have a hard time figuring us out, but I doubt that would lead the majority of them to try to bring us down. Some guys are just ******* and don't respect women, or people in general. It's not a smart move. Maybe if you're talking about second grade, like when boys hit girls cause they like 'em...

On, come on, now! It really is not always a sexist thing, either one way or the other.
But, yes, there are way too many rude comments, questions, etc. This can be a good learning arena, if everyone will "play fair".
But, you are so right: men really can't figure the ladies out. But, if they are trying to make women feel horrible, they aren't "men"!

No. I don't agree. It's an online forum...expect some things to offend you. Besides, there are more than a few female posters who have said some less than kind things...

I agree. These people have no real knowledge of you, so why would you give any weight to thier comments?
like the girl who was upset about being called fat? I mean really, he cant see you!!! who cares??? even if he could, calling someone fat or ugly is the lamest insult one can resort to. like there is nothing else that he can say.

I do agree. Some of the things these guys say to say to these women are so horrible.

"How can anyone take anything personally that comes from a stranger playing around on the internet.

The problem with women is estrogen.
The problem with men is testosterone. "

Thats what a guy above me said.

**it's still not right regardless!!**

I agree totally! Not all men are like that, but for the ones who are trying to get a rise out of us, we should ignore them and let them skulk back to their caves.

i agree that there is much immaturity here. i really dislike it when people (male or female) answer serious questions with absurd or mean-spirited responses. i suppose that there isn't much we can do but ignore those answers and hope for cosmic karma. We could also give those answers "bad" ratings, but i often wonder if that doesn't just provoke them more.
By the way, i'm not a girl, but i do feel that this topic needs addressing. Bravo to you for speaking up!

These BOYS don't personally make me feel badly about myself, but I do feel badly for any woman who takes them seriously.

I do get frustrated by some of their opinions, but I do believe that some of these guys have been hurt by a woman in the past. That, however, does not excuse them to prey on all women the way some of them do.

Ladies, if any of you really take to heart any of the things these boys say, please understand that nothing constructive comes from their hate or from the self-hate of otherwise perfectly wonderful people such as yourselves.

I sometime am embarrassed by some of the comments guys leave here or on any other message board. I personally might disagree or not understand something, but I respect people's right to their own opinion. Not all guys know how to express themselves intelligently and/or articulately, some are just clowns who haven't mentally/emotionally matured.

I agree "Don't let them get to you!"
