I would like to hear from some people on what the current definition of feminism is. I'm a child of the 70's and the people I talk to don't seem to have a clear cut idea of what it means to be a feminist in 07. It seems to have changed and the definition is rather evasive. I wonder if this might just be the southern society that I live in. I would like to learn more.
Your opinions please?

It is getting better as more and more women begin to take control of their investment decisions, but I would still imagine there is a barrier that exists for women trying to do so. Are there any women out there who have gone through some of these that could offer examples or descriptions of what the experience was like for them? Or any women out there that want to invest but dont because of these underlying barriers that could offer their story?

I try to be a good gentlemen, but somehow I end up staring at their breast... especially if their "cut" is a bit "revealing".

What should I do here? I know it is not polite for me, but I just can't avoid it....

My husband was not feeling well and he thought I should go. It was at the home of a friend of hers on a private lake. It was very pretty. It was a hot afternoon and it was suggested that we all go to the lake for a swim. Now, I had a bathing suit on under my clothes in anticipation of us going swimming, but when I look up, all the men and women at the party are undressing for a skinny dip. I was shocked and told my sister I would wait in the house as I did not want to participate or witness the event. She laughed and called me a prude as she usually does. Anyway, as I was turning to walk away, she grabbed my bikini top and pulled it off me. I turned in shock and gave everyone an eyeful. I was very embarassed and ran into the house to the sounds of claps and whistles. I got dressed, got in my car and left. My sister says I acted like a child and overreacted. Should I have just laughed and gone with it or did I overreact?

A mans job is it to take the beach or Fallujah or anything that involves beeing exposed to enemy fire fast reflexes and balls of steel. Amazingly feminists agree on it as well. Why dont feminists agree that big buisness or science is a mans job as well depsite the absence of female success (even in a time where they are actually favoured over men, despite of what current day feminists say) ? Why invest in women and send them to buisness school ? I mean you could use your Computer as a doorstopper and see if you can get your calculator to handle C++ somehow, but why would you do that ? Why do feminists insist Men should be home changing diapers so women can run down Juggernauts ? I am not saying a woman cant be better than a man, it depends on how you pair them up, but for every good woman there is always a better man, just like in sports, so why invest in women ?

This question is open to both guys and gals. Say that you are a guy who is on a date with a girl. During the date, you open the doors for her, pull out her chair, and even pay for the dinner. You are basically being a gentleman, like both your mother and father raised you. During the dinner, she tells you that "I don't believe that gentlemanliness constitutes respect and I find it patronizing and sexist."

What would you think about what this girl said?
What would you say to her face if you were the guy?
Do all women feel this way?
Are any women in this category have this belief system?
Is the women at the date correct for saying that?
Are both parents wrong for raising their sons to be a gentlemen towards women?

I have a problem with my physical body. My built was not developing normally. I don't have Adam's apple. I don't have muscles. I don't have a low voice. I also noticed that my "balls" are small and not level. I would like to be a real man for my wife or she will divorce me. Problem is, I am more attracted to a man than to a woman. My colleague are starting to notice, and I get very embarrassed. I am trying to hide this from them and my family, but for how long? I do my best to act like a real man, but find it very difficult.

do you ladies on here really believe that taking care of the daily chores is harder and more work than him working a full time job to pay all of the bills, so that a 50 50 split of the duties is only achieved if he takes care of all of the bills and does a substantial part of the chores (at least 30% better 50) as well ?
Note: Please do not mention children. At no point did I say beeing a full time worker should you extempt from spending time with the children.

“Class is meaningless,” argues Sartre; however, according to de Selby [1], it is not so much class that is meaningless, but rather the meaninglessness, and therefore the defining characteristic, of class. However, if capitalist feminism holds, we have to choose between textual capitalism and neodialectic theory. Any number of dialetics concerning not desublimation as such, but subdesublimation exist, of course. The subject is contextualised into a neotextual paradigm of expression that includes culture as a reality.

If one examines modernist theory, one is faced with another choice: either reject the subdeconstructive paradigm of discourse or conclude that this is part of the dialectic, given that the premise of capitalist feminism is valid.

Discuss.
