Why do GIRLS GONE WILD women do this?

Why do these young ladies think it's great to show all your stuff like that? What accomplishments, if they think, does it do? Don't they know that me, personally, when I see that i feel embarrass for them. They so cheap and easy. Why do women do this?

Doggie love, I've been plenty drunk and not all women act like whores just because they're drunk.

Allegra, a question like that has crossed my mind and we all know the obvious answer, duh! I am asking from a female point of view when we know that there are sharks out there waiting to pounce why are some women still dumb enough to fall for it and don't say because of drunkenness. Come on now, i wasn't born yesterday i've been sailor-drunk and I have not once showed my sweet stuff out there!

M C being drunk doesn't mean you have a pass to be a slut. Come on, give me a good answer and not a so obvious one!

Well first of all, because they obviously have different ideas about sexuality and modesty than you. There isn't one standard of conduct to which everyone adheres. Often this changes over time, and many women who might have done something like that years ago would never consider it now.

But expecting most 19-year olds to behave like responsible adults isn't very realistic. Why do they think streaking naked at a public sporting event is fun? Why do college kids drink all weekend when they know they've got tests on Monday? Why do so many smoke pot? Why do they drive fast and listen to loud, obnoxious music? Wisdom is not generally associated with youth.

This is an era when lots of young women around that same age work in strip clubs- some put themselves through college that way. Others with different goals make ridiculous amounts of money by having sex and performing in adult films. So simply flashing a crowd isn't anything outrageous to them.

I don't find it too surprising that some young women who would never consider anything like that, will happily remove their tops and taunt the crowd for a few seconds.

Sure, many people are embarassed or offended by such behavior, but that's their own view based upon their values and lifestyle. Many Amish disapprove of women going to the beach in bikinis, while Muslim clerics in Iran disapprove of blue jeans- meanwhile on the French Riviera people suntan in the nude. Such is life.

There are two parts to this answer. The first part is that there is "professional" camera there and when there is a camera people act dumb. Look at how people act when good morning america is filming. Second these girls are on spring break so they are in the mind set that they are free to go crazy and do what ever they want. Also some of these girls might be a little drunk.

Okay baby girl here goes. Common sense is something you are born with, (this means everyone doesn't have it) the common sense to respect your body and yourself. Since you question these individuals actions and feel embarrassed for them shows you have forethought, common sense and self-respect, more than likely one of those young women in the video will be involved in a crime, involving sex or just some stupid criminal act, will do drugs, and/or just other down right stupid thing. To keep your head when all others around you are losing theirs, is truly a gift in this day and age. Don't go with the flow, be an individual all the time. God Bless.

You say your embarassed for them! Think about if their dad saw their daughter on one of those videos, now thats embarassing. But I totally feel the same way. Maybe they have a problem with their self-esteem. Did you know that most beautiful women have some sort of complex and think they aren't beautiful? A lot of people are saying they did it because they were drunk but I don't think that thats an excuse to degrade yourself and women in general. Women have been working for equality for a long and time and everytime you flash a camera for a 'girls gone wild' trucker hat you setting us back more and more. We are on the verge of possibly having a female president, lets not ruin it because we don't know how to keep our shirts on.
This might be a totally different tangent but I wanted to put out there that taking shirts off won't get you with the man of your dreams, you'll end up waking up alone in a strangers bed. Men don't want to take 'whores' home to meet mom. They want a 'lady in the street and a freak in the bed'

The young ladies think it's great to show their stuff like that because they're getting paid big bucks to be in those videos. They also get men worshiping their goodies, which sometimes turns the girls on.

It accomplishes some screen time. Most of the ladies are in the porn business. They want their breasts on the big screen. GGW is usually an outlet to get their name/body out there to casting agencies and video companies. A lot of the Girls Gone Wild parties, are actually closed sets with loads of girls who are being paid.

While there's a lot of people out there embarrassed for them, there's a lot of people out there blowing their load to them, there's a lot of people looking to give them high paying jobs, and there's a lot of people who want to write angry letters. It really depends on your point of view- and it's really no use thinking there's just one angle.

Because they are young and enjoy doing something that others wouldn't- being "bad", breaking the rules and being free from societal restrictions. Many like the immediate feeling of power it gives them, they love the attention so it's simply like "go for it!".

At that age, they aren't concerned with any effect it might have in the future. And if they get PAID, so much the better... They don't care what anyone else thinks about it, especially after a few drinks.

I feel embarrassed for them, too. I would guess they do it to fit in and get attention. Maybe a few do it just for a quick thrill. I think most do it for the approval of their peers and for the approval of boys.
If I had done that in high school or college, I think I would look back on it with regret. It takes something of your self-respect away. It makes you less than you are. An object.
I wonder if these girls will feel okay about it ten years from now. I would be interested to know.

Porn stars get paid. Chicks who appear in "Girls Gone Wild" videos don't.

Say what you will about the pornographic industry: how it's "immoral" or "exploits women", or what have you. The GGW girls are BY FAR dumber than any porno actor will ever be, showing off their goods for free like that. Sometimes they're even goaded by the guys into having sex with another girl on camera, and they're given a size medium t-shirt for their troubles. Woo-hoo. Dumb attention-seeking broads.

Oh, and let's not forget that if Joe Francis pops enough of a chubby off-camera, he might have sex with them later on. Because he's just such an awesome guy like that. Ugh. Everything about that enterprise reeks of exploitation. I'm glad that idiot's in prison.

EDIT: Pardon me. WAS in prison. I wish sexual harassment carried a weightier sentence in this country.

I know a girl who was at a club they were filming at. She said they just kept pouring drinks down any girl they could until they were drunk enough to flash them...or worse..

Good thing the owner is going to jail for tax evation and for those two girls who were underage.... A step in the right direction.

They are exhibitionists. They like to shock people. Some I think are friends of the producer who's name behooves me. Some travel and are on over and over again. It's their job. They make a lot of money selling these videos to mostly old men who watch television at 4 in the morning. And they pay some of these girls for sure. Some are really just club goers who are talked into it. Anyway different strokes for different folks. Live and let live.
