Came back for a quick look at what I had said and your newer post reminded me of this.
Why do women think they can change men? Perhaps it gives them a sense of conquering the opposite sex; perhaps it's a sense of playing mother, nurse ,school teacher; I would not know for I've never been sturpid enough to even try it. Like you said the guy will only change long enough to get what he wants; after he's bored he just moves on.
Thanks for reminding me on this one, my last answer was very weak.

we change each other all the time as human beings male or female. and we will allow change if we are "bright" enough.
we're like clouds, always changing always forming a new shape. if not then what's the purpose. maybe women are just more apt to change than men are.

I don't think this can be attributed to one sex only-I've had lots of people, men and women both, try to change me. We all would like the people we're close to conform to our notion of proper behavior.
However, if you're running into this a lot, maybe there is something about you that NEEDS to be changed.

well sometimes it happen sometimes it doesn't. men aren't bright enough either when it comes to knowing what's good for them that's why women always try helping.

Most of them dont even "change" that long....apparently neither of the sexes is too smart....
BTW- I gave up on trying to change anyone and just love people for who they are.

They have too much fantasy in there lives.....not enough reality.
Some spend too much time watching daily soap operas......
What a joke these shows are.....Be thankful life isn't as totally rotten as most of them are!

Because at the beginning of their relationship boys are not honest about themselves. When the girl see the real one inside them then they think he must be changed.
And girls are creative ;)
