I've had a recurring dream for many years. In the dream I am always driving some type of vehicle (truck, van, suv) and everytime the brake lines are cut and I am freaking out. What does this mean?

Seems like living a lie up until your mid-life crisis is living a lie, don't you think. Check out this book:

I've used this section or category because after all food is "health". I've been really wondering what's going to happen to world food supply in the event that 'etanol' use succeeds. For example in South Florida early this morning the first "etanol" pumps were inaugurated. Eighty-five percent being etanol and rest gasoline.

Couple of months back there was a crisis in Mexico due to the government's increase of corn price, apparently because much more is being used for etanol. It is so ironic that only a few years back here in the USA, many farmers were suffering because they had to dump their "unwanted" corn.

Am I being pessimistic to think we're going to be deprived pretty soon of many foods. By the way this apparently is a direct cause of the hike in price for all milk products. At least that's what I read about a month ago.

I had a dream last night that a strange woman gave me a present wrapped in newspaper and told me to open it. For some reason I told her I wasn't going to. I turned the other way and she opened it for me. The next thing I knew she had plunged a knife into my back. It was painful and I felt my back hot with and pain-like my nerves were screaming or something. But I didn't even try to escape or fight back. What's the meaning of this dream?

who is STILL married a year later, by the way. I just want to go on with my life but he keeps bringing me to court ( and he keeps losing). He left ME. Shouldn't I be the angry one?

What is this about?

Maybe I should post this on the psychology board.

i have this roommate from romania. she was an orphan for i think 12 or 13 years and was adopted by a family here in america, who made a website dedicated to her and getting her to the states. she has a hearing problem that is mostly corrected by some sorta ear pieces she wears. anyways, she talks abnormally abundantly, is very nosy when i'm online and even talks when she knows i'm studying or am on the phone. does this have anything to do with her being stuck at Freud's oral stage??? does she just want all the attention that maybe she has gotten before for being an "orphan immigrant"? any theories are welcome. but how could i tell her politely to shut up and stay out of my business? lol....thanks in advance!!!

In may professional development course they provided outlines for a basic wardrobe for men and women, I'm curious as to what feminists think of the different expectations for men and women? It says here that women should have three to four skirts, three to four blouses, one to two dresses, six pairs of hosiery, one to two good pieces of jewelry and several other items. The men need suits, jackets, pants, shirts, socks, shoes and ties.
I'm just curious if feminists ( or anyone else) think there's a hugh difference in dress expectations?

Is it a reflection of one's self worth and esteem?

I always seem to do it.

When I have an opportunity to be happy, I ruin everything and make myself miserable. I don't know why.
I don't do it deliberately. I mean obviously I know what I'm doing, but I don't do it with the objective to make myself unhappy.

Maybe it's a sub-conscious thing? Maybe I don't think I deserve happiness. Or love.

Oh god, I'm sorry. I always get deeply philosophical at these hours... I'm so terribly depressed and lonely right now.

Will someone please talk to me?

I was speaking to a coworker and she was intentionally ignoring my question I was asking her. So I asked her loudly, "Do you always ignore people when they are speaking to you?
The response I recieved was "I'd rather not play with the parents of monopoly" The parents are tall and the game is short, and the rewards are few"

It was such weird cryptic response that I remembered it and woke up.
How would you interepret the meaning of this?

Why do the majority of people I know suffer from illiteracy? They come from good families, yet they choose to just fill their conversation with repeating what others say, saying "like", "you know" and other filler words instead of actually constructing a decent sentence? They also laugh at whatever they say. My ears literally bleed at school because these people just can't talk. Why are they like this?

This has been bugging me recently. Most women who hang out with gay men tend to be ugly, trashy and enormous overcompensating and immature attention seekers who give heterosexual men migraines with their incessant squealing.

Now I can understand if a heterosexual guy is desperate to get laid and tolerates a chick like this for that purpose, but come on.. this is not relevant to gay guys so why do they seem perfectly happy to tolerate it?

Its like: "We want you to look, but we don't want you to enjoy it". If you enjoy looking, you're a perve.

And I don't buy the whole thing about dressing up for "yourself". Yeah right.. if that were true you would dress up just to sit around the house.

Feminists with sons: Do you want your boys to have men's rights and not be discriminated against by feminism? How do you feel about the fact that feminism has caused society to focus on breast cancer awareness, but ignore prostate cancer? How do you feel about education being given more attention to girls, while boys are ignored in comparison? How do you feel about the fact that if your son becomes a loving caring father and husband, yet divorced an immoral and abusive woman, the courts will side with her and won't let him see his own children and he'll lose much of what he's worked hard for to her? How do you feel about how it's now politically incorrect just be a man? Should your son be referred to as a "potential rapist" as feminists like Andrea Dworkin has alleged? Do you want the best for your sons?

Also, feminists without sons -- if you did have a son would you want him to have rights?
