Hi. I majored in Computer Science. It was a very tough major, I never could have managed to work and do school at the same time. Now that I graduated, I don't have any work experience. I have never worked anywhere.

Its been 4 months since I graduated and haven't the right job for me. The first month I went on vacation after 5 years of college and no vacations or fun. So really I have only been looking for 3 months.

Here is my situation. My older brothers pay most of the bills at home, but they are now pressuring me to find a job. They think that I haven't found a job because I'm lazy and don't want to work. Sometimes I don't know about that. Maybe they are right. It's just that I get really frustrated when searching for a job, still have a lot of questions to answer in my life, got to put a lot of things in order and do a lot of things. 3 months seemed like a glimpse to me. I've been searching online, but I just can't find the right job soo I have just applied for about 5 jobs...

I am 27, a fairly qualified professional but find that looking for a job now is very difficult. I tried applying for jobs, even lower in level than my previous employment, but I still end up waiting for call back that never came. I am enriching my competency by continuing my masters degree but I feel empty without a regular 9 to 5. (Reason I quit work before was for further studies and a long vacation but now I am ready to be back in the labor force)
I think that I have a great personality and have a lot of friends but am not going out with anyone right now. I haven't been for two years and I miss being in a relationship.
My family and friends are supportive and keeps me happy. Only, I feel that I am letting my family down because I haven't followed through with the fulfillment of the dream I started years back.
I wished at least either one of my career or love life improves, but no luck so far =((
I feel lonely, miserable and lost. Any advice?

A proximal causal factor that caused you to go insane. A proximal causal factor is usually called "the last straw" in which a person goes psycho because of a very tiny thing after going through alot of trouble in life. An example would be being triggered to throw the tantrum because someone ate your bagel.

how do you stop loving? how long does it take to stop loving? when they started abusing me i knew it was wrong but they came into my life as good people then started it. By then i was already attached. If a family member friend or loved one starts abusing you and you can tell they are enjoying it when they do it what is the purpose in that?

I am so sad, I just need to vent..
I've been on my 2nd date with a guy I've met in a club, 3 weeks ago. On anf off we've also been chatting online so I found out many things abt his life. He's from Germany..here for 1 year, with an intership.

He told me among other things that he didn't get along with his parents for a long time. That they lived in a smaller village, were very strict, would ask him to work when other kids were playing, wouldn't let him travel and anything he did wasn't good enough for them..so he was happy to move out to college and get away from them. He says he needed to get away from the village and see more. He says now that he's travelled all over the world etc..that he's getting the masters degree, he says he reconciled with them and they're proud of him. He just visited them a month ago for his sister's wedding.

I am just suprised..didn't picture him as a "wild" thing with such tensions with his parents. He seems on the calmer, patient side, what I see.

Budding roses come and gone,
a callous world still carries on
vainly trying to look beyond
a pain that knows no soothing.
Little flowers hid from sight,
many colors dark and light are seized and swept into the night. Roses kept from blooming.

As self indulgence rules our land,
some children just don't fit the plan
and so we pluck them from God's hand.
Is our destruction looming?
Precious buds of God's design,
grand a gift of love divine
where earth and heaven intertwine,
yet their rose is kept from blooming.

May we learn to hold as dear
what God Himself has planted here.
And may we make the choice in fear,
lest we keep God's rose from blooming.

The joys this earth will never know,
little smiles that never glow,
lives left longing to unfold.
It's a tragedy we're choosing.
The sweetest gift that God could give,
He made to grow, to love, to live.
So help us Lord to let them live
for they're roses meant for blooming.

Why is there such little attention paid to satisfying the man? Even when a woman cheats a lot of people will say the guy didn't satisfy her. But when a man cheats he is a jerk.

But why all the foucs on womens needs in this culture? Maybe this is one reason a lot of men today don't want serious relationships.. whats the benefit of being in one when so many women take more than they give back?

They complain that men only want to get into their pants. But when you think about it... if todays women offered men something more valuable than sex, maybe they would look for more than sex.

With all the feminization of society these days, what else to women offer that men can count on?

Years ago when my children were younger, we lived in an old rent house here in town. One night I put my children to bed in front of the t.v and I went to sleep on the couch. Several hours later I awoke and I couldn't move!! It literally felt like I was paralyzed! My face was pointed toward the back of the couch and no matter how hard i tried I could not move. I remember thinking I was probably having a stroke and I needed to be calm and ride it out(I was only 29 at the time). Finally I was able to turn my head around and I was looking downward at my feet, it felt like my eyes were swollen. Then i realized my toes were sticking straight up and there was no slack in the queen size comforter I was using, Like I was levitating above the couch!! I was so terrified that I jumped up, grabbed my kids and took off to my sister's house! I am a logical person and think there must be a logical explanation. Was my brain still asleep??Can anyone tell me what was happening??

Most of the dream is very vague now. But I remember taking someone in the bathroom to show them this gigantic bug. It was probably 4-5 inches long and a good 2 inches wide. It was bright blue, black, and white. Interesting looking bug, but a bug nonetheless.

I bent down to look at it and it spread it's wings and flew up and attacked my leg.

I was torn between being so skeeved out about touching it and not wanting it to sting me. I wanted it off of me but couldn't bring myself to actually put my finger on it to flick it away.

Very strange. I can't remember anything else about the dream. But this part is still vivid and makes my whole body shudder just thinking about it.
