My quality of life has improved. I earned a bachellor's degree, got a good job and now enjoy a comfortable living. I have no debt and earn enough money to pay my bills plus enough to invest/save for my future.
Incidently, I earned my degree in economics and am optimistic about the future.

Diminished as far as how long most everything takes now to accomplish because of the increase in the population. The value of the dollar has definitely diminished - though I've learned to shop more efficiently and I've learned to need less. Attitudes (generally) have gone south with fear and rage on the increase. Guns on the streets, guns in the movies, guns on TV shows, gun shows, guns in the news - most definitely on the increase and maybe it's only where I live but it seems our youth are being denied a decent education. It seems I've already forgotten more than they've learned. The US no longer manufactures anything - we've become a service industry. This translates into depending on everybody else for our needs - very scary indeed. Our politicians and religious leaders are corrupt (not all of course but it's becoming much more common); and thanks to our liberal friends, yes is yes and no is also yes - everything goes.

Depends...
Financially - Improved - I have a good paying job now, 5 years ago I was in college.
Mentally - Diminished - Being in the real world bites!
Physically - Diminished - Even though I quit smoking I am kinda overweight and could be in better shape.

I think it's improved quite a bit, because a few years ago, my husband and I were having problems. So many problems, that we separated for a few months. During the time we were apart, we continued to talk, and finally started talking about what was wrong. We eventually worked things out, and we have a much better relationship.

It's a draw. My salary has increased, but my work load has doubled and the new company president is unbearable. I was diagnosed with diabetes, but lost weight and now diet and exercize carefully, so I'm healthier than ever. No really "happy" things like marriage or children, or "bad" things like death or divorce, so things are on the same happiness level.

I have her the latest statistic from Ohio, 87% have their wealth reduced since 2000 and that's seems to be close to national average. 100 Dollar in 2000 is worth 75 today.

Improved. I moved away from my family, got my own place and job, got engaged, and got a puppy. I'm starting my own life now instead of living under my mom's wing.
