As a paramedic, people are always asking me that. I've seen many horrible things. Now I want to know what is the most horrible thing YOU have ever seen.

passive aggressive people normally refuse to communicate openly, hold grudges and manipulate others, is there any real chance to resolve any dispute with these kind of people?

I don't need lots of accusations of 'why not, woman-hater?'. I'm interested from an anthropological perspective. I would have thought that attributing that much power to a female symbol as long ago as when chess was invented would have been quite unusual. Anyone have any background knowledge? Speculation welcome. Thanks.

I've always considered dreaming to work kind of like a kaleidoscope - take a bunch of junk from you ray, put in a seemingly simple gadget (sleep?) and voila, you get either a masterpiece or some random.. thing. My argument is the fact that in I can find a meaning why everything happens in my dream – for example if I dreamt about swings, I remember that once during the day I thought about swings, if I dreamt about a girl with a fringe, I remember seeing a picture of someone having the exact hairstyle. This way, I can I know the source of everything that happens in my dreams.

But could you prove to me or give some arguments as to why dreams might also have meanings? I'm really looking forward to it and half wish to be convinced :).

Thank you!

Whenever I speak to someone I don't know (or someone I do know but not very well) I completely freeze up sometimes, & get really anxious about saying the wrong thing so a lot of the time I just stay silent, I don't mean normal stranger shyness, I'm just really afraid to talk to them. But when I'm with a close friend I can completely open up & say anything I want without thinking about how it's going to sound?

I've been thinking about sept 11th and all the people who died, and I know this sounds weird but I was thinking what if god said that everyone else could've lived if you die, like say your the only one in a plane crash or someone drowns you. I know this is all kind of morbid but I was curious. For me after I really thought about, I would give my life to save thousands of others, I'm not sure how low i would go like would i give my life for ten people, but I know i would give my life for 100 people. What do you think you would do if given the choice.

If you have an idea for a business to create jobs in a poor area is there a way to equalize opportunities so the most people possible can better their economic situation? This would be a small biz startup but with the possibility of growth. Is it feasible/desirable to target the poorest group for employment, to move them to the next level of economic independence?

First, answer the question please.

In addion, this seems to coincide with a book I read, where 85% of the world lives below the mark or mentality to maintain self-sustainability.

If anyone has ever read Power vs. Force by David Hawking, you know what I'm talking about.

Good day guys. This would be my 1st question. I was wondering about this one. Its a very crazy question since we do not have the choice. But it's a random question for anyone.

Or would you rather LIVE FOREVER? (Are you sure)

Not that I am dying or what. Just a question among us living.

I have a nice figure ( but I don't go overboard) like the girls on Southwest Airlines. However, I feel funny around women who wear the hijab, as if by their presence I am made to feel morally lacking in a group. I feel insulted because I am naturally attractive and I feel that they are trying to force their beliefs (Allah) on me. I think a little fun is okay. I love my freedom to independence, and no matter what women say who wear the hijab, they are giving up a bit of freedom. I love wearing heels on a bright sunny day and wearing my hair down, hanging on my shoulders. Also, as much as a woman who wears the hijab wants to believe she will never experience the wonderful feel of running along the beach with her nice sexy muscled legs, enjoying just breathing and being herself. I know other women will answer this by saying they can run along the beach with a hijab which I feel is BS -never in the same way, it must be stifling-literally and figuratively.

I graduated in Computer Science but I just hate my career field and I'm totally frustrated. I am just a normal average guy. And I can't compete with the people in my field. A lot of them are like robots who just know everything or spend their entire day at the computer (not chatting, watching videos,,, but doing heavy stuff like creating some weird program or hacking)

I just hate it, because I can't compete with them for jobs. At the same time, I can get some computer data entry or call center customer service job... but I feel horrible. Its like all the waste of energy for such a tough major to end up in a job that any High School graduate can do. Its depressing. And I can't stand the pressure around me. Everybody is like .. ohhhh Computer Science! you are going to make big money. But I won't get big money if I get a regular job. And for the big paying jobs I can't compete with those people. I am frustrated. I feel like going to somewhere no one knows me and do whatever I want.

They always block me from where I'm going because there in my way. If I dodge one theres always another. I feel trapped. What do these dreams I keep having mean?

My point is, can our cultures trigger certain things like depression and anxiety? Or do you think it's environment and brain chemistry? Or both?

Ever notice that when a girl is into a guy, her interest level stays high as long as he stays cool and doesn't get to attached. But the second he gets attached to her and starts treating her nice and showing care and affection, she starts losing passion. Why is this?

After some bad experiences I feel like I have to force myself to act aloof with women I like to avoid scaring them away. It sucks because when I like a woman I want to treat her like a queen. But everytime I've ever treated a woman like a queen she became detached and (excuse my French) treated my like sh!t.

I had this dream 2 nights ago that i cant get out of my head.I was in an apartment patio on the 2nd story.it was a patio overlooking the city.A very big city.looking straight out at the city, there was an ocean a very big, very detailed ocean. what was strange about this ocean that i cant get out of my head was the fact that it was curving upward toward the sky. like we were on the bottom of the world looking up. It was hurling giant waves at the city. but the waves did not go far enough into the city to reach my patio. As soon as the waves hit, droplets of water would fly past my head like bullets. That ocean looked like such a danger, and such a monster.it had a very dark almost glow to it.However, it was so amazing that i couldnt be afraid. After veiwing this awsome sight, i turned to my left, and saw men with guns on the street. they were shooting. although they werent aiming for me, stray bullets came close.i ducked and headed inside.thats really all i remember.tell me what u think.

This Guy like me for 3 years. (2 years in college, 1 year in different states)

His behavior (2 years in college)
1) He stared whenever he saw me
2) He came to where I worked everyday just to looked at me.
3) He tried to talk to me (We both was shy)
4) His friends told me he likes me
5) All his buddies and his brother seem to respect me

After I moved away..
6) He was very depressed and distress
7) He wrote the first poem about us. His poem claims he does not know where I was or what to do, but he loves and wait for my return.

I contacted him after I read his poem. I told him, I don't want a relationship because my life is so confused and unstable.
8) He lied to me that he has a girlfriend (he does not)
9) We decided to be friend and talked on facebook
9) He continues to wrote over 20 poems about me. His poems often express his sadness and long for me. (His poem are very specific and only talk about me and him)

The "bully" has, in my opinion, changed. I don't think there are very many of the stereotypical bullies anymore, the kind that would beat you up just for your milk money. I think bullies nowadays are actually the popular kids, who aren't the kind who fight you, just make you feel bad and who pick on the less popular kids.
