I had a dream about a friend I had lost contact w/ & in the dream his face looked messed up so when I woke up I then looked him up on yahoo to find out he had died in a car crash anyone else have similar experiences of the dead contacting them in a dream?

My grandmothers died 2 weeks apart from each other. When my first grandmother died, I had a dream that she came to me to say goodbye and to tell my grandmother that was still here that she was going to be okay in the afterlife. A week later, my other grandmother had gone. She was in a coma when I had the dream, so I couldn't ask her if she had talked to my other grandmother.

Most of my dreams are about my mom who took her own life almost 20 years ago. Still miss her very much and find the dreams very comforting.

consider it an astral visit from your friends spirit. Odd that his face was messed up. My father was killed in an accident and was badly cut. shortly after his death he came to visit me. he looked great, and the wounds were healed. Only a thin line like an old scar remained. i asked him about it and he looked at the scar like he did not know it was even there.
cool huh. consider it a blessing that your friend picked you to visit along his new journey. hope you have another. try talking to him next time.

I had a dream of my grandpal. Me and five other people were standing in this graveyard and a hurse pulled up so I got inside. my grandfather was sitting inside starring, we drove of then i woke up.

yes. my son dreamt about my dad one morning. in that dream, my dad told him that he was fine and that he was going home. that same morning, at around the same time my son dreamt about my dad, my dad died in the hospital after a lingering illness.
