A proximal causal factor that caused you to go insane. A proximal causal factor is usually called "the last straw" in which a person goes psycho because of a very tiny thing after going through alot of trouble in life. An example would be being triggered to throw the tantrum because someone ate your bagel.

I had this experience where I just had a crazy week at work, i was swamped with reports, troubleshooting issues and to top things my boss was just riding me. I handled them with my usual demeanor, I was stressed no doubt but remained cool.

Then one day, I came to the office and i couldn't find my pen...i freaked out and basically went on a rampage searching everyones desk, kicking and screaming...

I am not usually like this, my colleagues were shocked because i usually have a relaxed deneamor

This has happened to me several times. One example was when my younger brother really ticked me off and I punched a hole in our very thick wall. My hand was bleeding bad but I felt no pain and didn't notice until later.

I'm really bad about this. When people push me too far it's like a solar flare of rage bursts out of me.

I can get quite psycho while sitting in traffic. But I think the normal person just explodes because they don't let any of their anger or frustration out in time. Keeping it bottled up is so not good.

I think most of us have. You might go ballistic because someone didn't wash a glass and left it in the sink. Most of the time it was just "the last straw" phenomenon and not just the unwashed glass.

that happens to a lot of people because they let things build up and don't say anything about it at the time then when something as small as eating your bagel you explode and then people around you think your nuts over something like that, so say something at the time it happen or let it slide and don't think about it or brood over it later.

ah ha, the proverbial last straw.... the consequence of unresolved conflicts. Heck yeah, I've had my moments. Not a pretty sight! Thank god it's temporary!

We used to call that, "The straw that broke the camel's back."

The last time it happened to me was when my camel bucked me off his back......now that's irony
