it's not the destination, it's the ride.

There is no set purpose of life. It is up to YOU to give yourself purpose in life. Look for a need and work to fill it. Help others, volunteer, join a group working for a worthy cause. Isn't this the best way? You not only get to choose, but it will mean so much more because you CHOSE to do good work instead of being somehow mysteriously "programmed" with a purpose.

i think originally there was a purpose to living it was to populate then maybe to try to make changes in the world but now that we r so over populated i think the meaning of life has lost its importance not that its not important to live but each individual doesnt mean as much to the world as like a big group who works together these days we should just all enjoy the time we r here to atleast make it worth it because we have no choice in being born basically

I have no purpose no one does, they work hard to get an education and a career, just to die an leave everything behind.
It's alot more depression when you start thinking about religions not being real, we're all just a bunch of fancy animals with a little more intelligence, if insects don't go to "heaven", then why would we humans go to heaven. we are all insects in this huge universe.

This world is a training ground for the "real" life we are to go to. When the life here is ended, all of the lessons we learned, all the things we have seen, heard, felt, or thought about will help us in that new life.

I think we are God's and earth's creatures and we are here to support the earth. The earth uses us to maintain... People and animals come and go and do good things and bad things for the earth, but it still remains. We just get the opportunity to enjoy our time here or not.
I think there is no need for a purpose just be happy we have it.

God gave us the gift of life and He decides when and where its going to end for you. How you live it, based on your actions and faith, determines whether you will go to heaven or hell on judgement day. The purpose of life is to live it fully by glorifing God with it, to put yourself last and to help others without complaint, and to show God and His good news of salvation to everyone whenever we have the chance so that they may be saved from hell because of their life of sin. If you believe in God and believe that Jesus died as a sacrifice for your sins, that you should be held accountable for, because He loves you so much and are baptized upon that belief then you live to please Him the rest of your life you will go to heaven. The purpose of life is to tell others this good news so that they may realize what Jesus has done and be saved as well. In order to show Christ to others we must act like Christ in all that we do in life. We will mess up but God will forgive you for your sins if you ask him to sincerely. Thats how great His love is for us! Why wouldnt you want to show and tell people about it? If you live your whole life without God you will always be missing something, and try to fill that hole with money and worldly things which you cant even have after death so why place such importance on them? True happiness comes from a life with God in it. He is your purpose in life. Heaven was given to us by His grace and mercy, we dont deserve it and we never will. But he lets us have it if we just believe in Him.

I always tell people "You're born with the future you die with", which is just another way of saying the purpose of your life is for you to decide---or not. It's all up to you. You can gain the sky, or simply write ironic metaphors all day. It's your choice.

the life is a station for the other life. God gave us the life to check out if we are good people or not, before the doomsday which will be in the other life.
so we are living to do this exam and dying is the time for getting the results of this exam.

The purpose of life, in the face of inevitable death, is what ever you decide to make of it.
You decide your purpose.
Personally, I exist to experience.
