It is duel edged sword that they refer to false and/or inflated statistics.
One being, as you correctly observe, to continue and 'improve' the notion that men are innately evil while women are perpetual victims... just like Andrea Dworkin claimed.
The otherside is that an entire industry has been made out of rape and abuses... encapsulating both false & genuine cases. This industry DEMANDS fresh meat to exist. If you stop a dog from having nurishment, it shall die... the falsification of statistics is mearly a means to ensure fresh meat, promote the victim mentality and ultimately keep the 'industry' alive & kicking, which translates to funding (monetary gain).

A national police group stated that 50% of all rape allegations are proven false by the woman being caught in a lie. Add to that the ones that aren't caught and the sheer volume of men being let out of prison because dna has exonerated them. Yea false rape allegations are a huge problem that is just now starting to see the light. And the feminists absolutly have to have high numbers of rape and dv to kkep their movement afloat but if you look real close and study feminism it becomes very easy to see the blatant falsehoods of feminism.

Those who use inflated statistics on rape do so out of a desire to create a greater sense of urgency about the problem.

Gender feminists, such as Susan Brownmiller, say that all men are in a conscious conspiracy to subjugate all women with rape as their tool.
A false statistic or two can not hold a candle to that vitriolic nonsense.

can you prove that women are making up false rape statistics? I'm not trying to sound cocky at all, but i dont think many woman are saying that, and i would like you to post a valid argument for that. i believe the message of rape should be given out. if i ever have children, i will tell them early on about it, not because i think that men are evil, but because it is a fact that there are evil 'ppl' in the world.

I would hesitate to say that anyone made anything up. Maybe some people just misrepresent actual statisics.
Example: In the book Slander, Ann Coulter claims that Reagan's approval rating fell from 80% to 75% during Iran-Contra. But she was speaking of his PERSONAL approval rating. The rating for his job fell from 63% to 47%. See how that works?

To keep the movement alive. The malcontents would lose their role in life if everything was more or less equitable between men and women.

Why is so hard to believe that this happens and the frequency for BOTH males and females?
I think it actually happens so often we'd all be shocked, but most of it goes unreported.
I'm not trying to make ANYONE sound evil. We're trying to give people a little wake-up call when it comes to personal safety and boundaries.
EDIT - by the thumbs down I see how "open minded" people are about doing their own research into the statistics. Not that's you'd believe them, either.
