If a really rich guy - like Bill Gates for example, were to burn all his paper money - $50 Billion US dollars - would it harm the country?

I mean, I know that he can spend it or splurge it on extravagance or donate it or use it for R&D or for capital goods or to hire more workers or to increase efficiency etc etc. But instead if he just burnt the money - would the country suffer ? the economy suffer? what would suffer?

choose who you want to be your girlfriend?
im the sort of person that has standards. and im very picky and choosy.
id rather spend my life alone, than just accept anyone into my life.
for example if someone said ' ill be your friend' or just any girl or woman approached me. i wouldnt accept them, because i want people in my life, I, CHOOSE not just anyone offered or given.
NO !
so i may be in for a lonely life then, this maybe my fate, because i willl not just accept anyone. im refering to friends
and potential girlfriends by the way. i wont just accept just drifts my way.
does anyone else feel like this?

ok, their were these evil black shadows that would kill you if you went into the darkness. me and family members and people i didnt know were running from place to place to stay out of the darkness but those evil black shadows were going around all over, slowly destroying all the light sources. I went to one small traval trailor and it had my family in it and they wouldnt let me inside where light was cuz their wasnt enough room. they were packed in. so me and this other person i didnt know would try to find other places that had light and in time the light would shut off. It was like that throughout the whole dream. I remember swimming in lake or something like that and dodging the black shadows cuz it was dark on the lake. I remember being in this old run down 2 story house and being at the top bedroom and yelling out the window for this one person to hurry up and find light cuz one of the shadows were after them. anyway. Thats about it. I didnt watch any scary movies...

I have read that in some cases of people having multiple personalities, that when asked to bring out one of the personalities, their eye color changed. And also medical problems came into existance, when in the other personality, they weren't present. If their problem is indeed mental, and they beleive that they 100% have the characteristics of this other person, should this lead us to beleive that anything can be changed, even physical appearance, by only our minds? Shouldn't normal healthy people be able to tap into this power as well?

I'm actually working on research for a project at college, and I am currently looking for a variety of disorders that would require long term psychiatric care in an at least medium security facility. If you want to throw in a couple of shorter term disorders, I can use some of those, too, but i would appreciate a greater concentration on longer term care. If you don't know exactly what the disorder means or what it entails, thats fine. I would just like a list of conditions to look into.
Thanks, I appreciate the help.

Well, I meet this girl some time ago... I was very attracted to her. She is gorgeous!!! But for some reason she couldn't stand me. Anyway, we ended up sharing a condo together. So even though I didn't like her and she me, we deiced to stay on our side of the condo. Six months later and we hardly get along. She acts very much like a *****! Getting mad over stupid little things. Long story short, I woke up last night. I heard something. It was coming from in her room. I knew it wasn’t a guy; she doesn’t have a boyfriend for some insane reason. I knocked on the door. There was no answer. I went in. She was curled up in bed having a nightmare, sobbing, and pushing at the sheets as if it were something or someone trying to harm her. I tried to wake her up, but this only made things worse. She began clawing at me and sobbing really badly, over and over, “ No, don-’t, don’t…Ple-ase I’m so so-rry, don’t ple-ase!” I gathered her up in my arms and tried to calm her down. She was burning up with fever! Her heart was pounding hard against my chest. Her eyes were huge, confused, and very frightened. It was very weird seeing her like this. She put me through hell and I should have walked away. But I couldn’t. She cried for over an hour as I held her, stroking her back and hair. When she finally stopped, she called my name as if confused, and said, “ Don’t leave me. I didn’t want him to hurt me again, I just didn’t want him to…”She buried her face in the side of my neck and started to cry again until she fell asleep. I don’t know how to ask her who hurt her, how, and when, without making her cry. How should I go about it??? Should I even ask her???

we were in a friends with a future (as a couple) category, but there are things about him that worry me. First, he is 40 and living with mom. He got divorced 2 years ago, and went to mom's to look for comfort and company, but i feel as if 2 years is well past expected time to go back to your feet again. He said he was going back to college, hasn't and after quitting his job 8 months ago to pursue his degree, only survives doing part times. I on the other hand, am a really assertive person, i keep myself busy from 6 am till about 9 pm. I have 2 college degrees, and my feet well planted on earth.
Now, what worries me most is that this person might be clinically depressed and hasn't even noticed. Or could he be a dreamer? I mean, he hasn't got a car because he can use mom's, never has a penny to spend, but doesn't actually do anything to resolve this situation!
