I would have done my homework in high school and would not have blown off college. I could easily have gotten a scholarship somewhere, but I was too busy socializing. I didn't think it was important to make the grades since I knew the information. But all the knowledge in the world doesn't get you ahead in a world that demands the degree.

You know there have many lots of things about my life I would have liked to change to make it "easier." A mother who wasn't a beauty queen/addict, a father who wasn't an alcoholic, a life that was "normal."

Then again, I wouldn't be the passionate, eccentric, and sometimes loveable girl that I am today. So, if I HAD to change one thing from being a kid - I would have played more tetherball!

I would have joined the military on my 19th birthday instead of waiting till my 30th.

I wouldn't have waisted my time with my 1st boyfriend and gone out and married a man who cared more about me than his equipment.

I would have married my last husband 1st and skipped the 1st 2. Oh great on the hindsight here!

I would have skipped college, because I now know I can't pass Spanish and Algerbra - the 2 keys to get the degree. I would have challenged my money in other directions.

I'd go to the police about my mother, and have myself and my brother removed from the home. I wish I'd done that when I was a kid instead of taking over the house and taking care of everyone.

I don't know that I would change my life per say, but I would for sure change several of my decisions over the years... which in turn I guess would make my life pretty different now...

*Lived in the past for a long time... got me no where...

Saw a quote the other day that touched me....

It read "Dont' live for the dot, live for the line"

I would take more time to enjoy this innocence and naivety that childhood allows you to have. I would also try to learn as many things as i possibly could, and take every chance to try something new.
