I had a strange dream last night and no i didnt watch any scary movies...?

ok, their were these evil black shadows that would kill you if you went into the darkness. me and family members and people i didnt know were running from place to place to stay out of the darkness but those evil black shadows were going around all over, slowly destroying all the light sources. I went to one small traval trailor and it had my family in it and they wouldnt let me inside where light was cuz their wasnt enough room. they were packed in. so me and this other person i didnt know would try to find other places that had light and in time the light would shut off. It was like that throughout the whole dream. I remember swimming in lake or something like that and dodging the black shadows cuz it was dark on the lake. I remember being in this old run down 2 story house and being at the top bedroom and yelling out the window for this one person to hurry up and find light cuz one of the shadows were after them. anyway. Thats about it. I didnt watch any scary movies...

The images in your dream were very threatening. that seems to me that you have hidden fears , you want to tell your family something but your to frightened of there reaciton so you would rather con-find in a stranger to see what there reaction would be ,( that's where the water comes into it testing the water )the run down house could be that it is someone older than you , upstairs could be that there your aunt or uncle etc,, maybe I'm wrong but this is a weird dream to have when you haven't watched a scary movie , your subconscious is trying to let you know that what ever it is , is still there, i think ,,

I don't want to sound hyper-religious or "super-spiritual" or anything like that, but it sounds like you are beginning to see the world as it really is - the "behind-the-scenes" world, or the spiritual realm.

The bottom line is that this is a VERY dark world, and the darkness is spreading. Furthermore, the only safe place is in the light.

My recommendation? Again, without trying to sound "super spiritual" or anything like that, Jesus said "I am the light of the world."

From the description of your dream, it sounds as though you realize that there is no help or hope in this world that's filled with the darkness of evil.

But Jesus said, "be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

He went on to say, "If anyone is weary and heavy laden, come to me and find rest for your soul."

Your dream is closer to reality than you realize, and the light IS going out, as evil and darkness spreads. But if you call on God, He will fill your soul with the light of His eternal Love, which He demonstrated towards us while we still in our sins by sending His own Son to die on the cross in order to pay the penalty for OUR sins (i.e. crimes against God), since we have ALL broken God's laws. "Because God so loved this world, that He freely gave His only begotten Son, that ANYbody who puts their trust in Him will NOT perish, but have everlasting life."

I'm sorry if I sound "preachy" to you. That's not my intention. It's just that I used to be where you now are, and it was only because of the love of Jesus in my heart that made all the difference in the world. He wants us to acknowledge that we have sinned (lied, stolen, hated, etc, etc, etc), and then ask Him to forgive you because of what Jesus did for us by dying on the cross, and then turn (i.e. repent) from our sins, and He WILL forgive us, clean up our hearts, and live in our hearts by His Spirit, and give us all the light He has.

think you may have seen the movie ghost a while ago with demi moore and patrick swayze--it had those little black ghosties in it--so maybe your sub-concious brought it up
