Sometimes laying in bed, driving etc.. I'll ask my boyfriend what he's thinking and 50% of the time he has "nothing". He doesn't meditate either.

How is this possible? I'm always thinking about something.

People can say mean things when mad... but what about the people who hurt others with full intention? Or do they not notice it? Why do they do this? Do they care or love the ones they abuse?
What motives could they posibly have?

but there are times (may be one in ten times) i am good in my work. i am fast, able to concentrate well in the job, able to address issues, confident, suddenly i get the come what may let me see attitude.
how this change in thought / attitude happens?? i dont know!!.
it comes all of a sudden. sometimes in the morning, sometimes in afternoon, sometimes before bed, sometimes once i meet my boss, sometimes after taking a food. and it vanishes as fast as it comes. what is happening to me?

Why don't people realise that if we trumpet about being strong women, it means we are, rather than they could have some fun getting us all riled up, proving how insecure we are?

They are so silly. Why can't they see that when we post replies that they think are overly emotional, angry and hysterical, it can't be true because that's a misogynistic stereotype and really we are teaching them a lesson for messing with us?

And why do they keep abusing us about feminism not being about equality when we TOLD them a million times it is and taught them a lesson too while we were at it hahahaha?

everything you do is wrong, everything that you believe in is wrong. or feel like you simply just don't know what to do anymore? like say you believe something to be true, no matter what it is, then all of the sudden you get this feeling that its wrong, and you try to figure out what it is that is right but you just can't find it and then you finally think that you are over it but you really are just hiding it from the from the world cuz you don't want anyone to know, but then you see people looking at you like they know that you have a fake smile on your face, and they want to know why you cannot smile from the inside cuz you don't know how? or if you tell someone it will be completely pointless because they wont under stand you anyways? like no matter what you do your wrong, matter how hard you try in like you just fail? and then it just repeats over and over.

I have this friend who last year her son ran a fever and fitted and she was unable to get help and left him to fit all night. my son fell down and injured his leg and she showed no concern while he writhed about crying - i was out the back and came in and she was still standing at the sink and not responded to his cries. her husband suicided and prior to suiciding he cried and begged her not to leave stating he would get help and she walked out and later that day he suicided.

yesterday i dislocated my finger and she left me and drove away. later stating she felt physically sick at my pain and ran away, i am actually concerned at her responses is this normal or does she have issues with empathy - ??

Hello there,
I will be graduating from medical school in June and will be an intern in July. One of the issues I am currently struggling with is my lack of self confidence. I have found throughout the medical school process, I am finding myself easily discouraged, second guessing myself and comparing myself to others who are smarter than me. It's is annoying and I want to stop, because I feel that I would be a much better doctor if I didnt have this problem. Although I graduated at the top of my class in college and have had no difficulties in med school, I am finding myself thinking that I reached this point in my life by luck. On my current rotation I am constantly comparing myself to the other student who seems to always be at the top of his game. Although the doctor we are working with is praising us greatly, I feel that I don't deserve the praises he gives me. For my patients' sakes, I want to improve, any ideas?

Question in more detail: If there is an Organization for Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) that dictates the supply of oil, could there be an Organization for Petroleum Importing Countries (OPIC) that dictates the demand for oil?

Basically, the reason why OPEC had much power before was because of the fact that oil-importing countries were fragmented and they have less buying power. For example, given the wanning influence of OPEC, could oil-importing countries unite and dictate where to buy oil and at what quantity?

What is the implication of this type of system, and could it exist and stay in power just like OPEC?

Some question to work out the economist in you...

I have anxiety problems that I've been seeing a psychologist for, but once in a while, I'll get these feelings like my head is imploding, or it'll feel like there's something vibrating inside my head, and it really freaks me out! I've went to the ER twice because of stuff like this, blood tests and cat scan came back fine, didn't have an MRI though. I'm really worried about my head, lol. Could it just be a weird kind of anxiety attack?

There have been numerous wars and diseases and do you think it helps control a rapid population growth? Maybe there are forces at work that help control the population and therefore help in keeping our race from dying out due to lack of resources.

I know that was a weird way to ask, but I was trying to keep the question short. I'm trying to compile a small list of commonly used PECS symbols (boardmaker symbols, whatever) to creat a small book for myself, to keep in my files of ideas to work with children with autism and other disabilities. I'm striving to be a teacher in this field and am collecting whatever I can learn right now, through work and the internet, and was wondering if anyone knew where a list of common symbols are. Thanks!
