Social Science - 1 April 2007

My husband wants a divorce because he can't get past something I've done which hurt him deeply( I didn't cheat). I'm willing to give it to him because I know there's nothing I can do to change his mind but I still love him and have no ideal where to go from here.How do you move on after losing the one person that loved you and took care of you like no one ever has due to your own selfishness?

My ex-girlfriend & I split up a month ago.We were under a lot of stress from other things,& she finished with me because of it. Now everything's fine. The other day,we went out for a drink,& spoke for nearly 4 hours! She said she feels guilty for finishing,doesn't want2get back together,yet does want to spend time with me...and just see where the friendship goes...then she says maybe i can come over and we watch a dvd/have lunch etc on friday..i've said yes. The thing is, I want more from her,& am confused as I dont think she does from me, although she wasnt really clear! What do I do, do I still go,& is it worth me saying/trying anything?

Due to interracial marriages, do you believe that there will come a time (say a thousand years from now) that there will be no pure Caucasians, Asians & African race? I walk around my school everyday and hear black peole-no meaning to be racist- call each other the 'n' word and i think it's just wrong. it makes no sense to do that when it was created as an insult. Then there's them calling us white people crackers. What is with people and racism?! It's just so appaling. The adults are actually encouraging their children to do so.

To simplify it, it happens like this. When you are asleep, your spirit goes out and travel. This is why we have dreams. But there are times when you are sleep, or just about, and then you suddenly wake up, and you can't move at all, not even open your mouth. You might also hear static, buzzing, music, or strange noises. This is because your spirit is halfway out of your body and your brain panics because it's thinking that you're dying, but you're not. It stops in a few minutes and then you'll be able to move again. It's frightening the first time it happens. Does this happen to you? I have it sometimes.

I have to admit it's an assignment, i've already done some reading on it and i am still unable to decide which symptom it is. Put it short, I've distilliated it into list of symptoms:

Problem of Patient:
1. Unable to name individual and Objects. Both Familiar Object of famous people.
2. Patient tend to substitude words to name objects
3. Unable to do well on Picture-to-Word matching task
4. Cannot generate words in catagories (Animal: Dog, Cat, Duck..), but can generate Letter fluency (L: Let, Lest, Less...)
5. Bad Word Memory

Property of Patient:
1. Can generate past Experience
2. Have no problem with daily activity and care of self.
3. Normal Short Term Memory
4. Normal Verbal Repetition
5. Normal Line Orientation Test
6. Normal Copy/Recall of Complex figure

NOW, POSSIBLE SYMPTOM I COME UP WITH:
1. Associative Agnosia
2. Anomic Aphasia (Anomia)
3. Dementia
