I know that was a weird way to ask, but I was trying to keep the question short. I'm trying to compile a small list of commonly used PECS symbols (boardmaker symbols, whatever) to creat a small book for myself, to keep in my files of ideas to work with children with autism and other disabilities. I'm striving to be a teacher in this field and am collecting whatever I can learn right now, through work and the internet, and was wondering if anyone knew where a list of common symbols are. There are books of symbols and there are several different kind os symbols and picture communication cards. In our State there is a Special Education Resource Center where you can get these books and...well, fill in the blanks, I don't want to recommend anything illegal, for be it from ME! I am sure you can find something similar where you work. Maybe there is an institution, educational center, or agency that can also help you find speech therapists who would have these tools.
