I am doing research that involves films produced in Argentina and films produced in the U.S. regardign Argentina. The local libraries (universities and public) have none of the titles I need. I've called distributors (like Hastings, Blockbuster, etc.), but it is just going to be way too expensive to rent all the titles I'm looking for. How else could I get these films?

What are the steps to accepting yourself - the flaws, the good things, the things that society doesn't accept?
I need this for a workshop, so links & refrences & videos would be excellent.

I know that deep down I should not do this but I can't stop. I've had all the pep talks, but it just seem as if it's impossible for me to be happy with myself. I'm not suicidal, but I'm 21 and I have never been truly happy in my own skin. I obviously need help.

Most of us are aware of the basic theory, which states that as automation becomes more efficient, few workers are needed to produce more goods.
However, as automation continues to increase exponentially and as computers become able to reproduce intellectual work once thought to be the sole domain of human intelligence, it would seem we face the possibility of an economy where the vast majority of humans are no longer required to keep the economy functionning.
But this leads to an obvious paradox as most people still earn access to economic goods through their capacity to provide labour.
So Is there a breaking point where automation makes the social contract of work versus goods unworkable? And if so, what can replace it?

my grandmother has a disability and one of my cousins is somewhat mentally impaired. both of them need assistance to do everyday things like showering and just keeping up their appearances. They arent in wheelchairs or anything, their just really slow and cant take care of themselves. But the reason I'm asking is bc another one of my cousins feels like the reason she's having trouble in school sometimes is bc she thinks something might be wrong with her too. I have the same problem. Sometimes, I feel really slow mentally and that I could be doing better. So, is might I have gotten a little something from my family members?

we all have the mental capabilities within our brain that allows us to overcome any obstacle that our human bodies may experience, either physical or mental? And that all it takes is something to trigger those mechanisms, such as a realization, or a strong willpower, or simply someone's constant encouragement, to switch it on? Do you beleive that anything is possible with the power of our minds, and our true human capabilities, when you stop letting outside influences affect your beleif in yourself?

I often dream I have to catch baby copperheads, which are very poisiniois because they don't know how to moderate their venom. Different people in my dreams tell me I have to do this. The snakes may be in the house or in a cave or in the grass etc. but are some type of threat. I usually catch them and try to hold their heads back so they can't bite my wrist, but when I grab the second one the first one will bite me. They don't break the skin but I get mad anyway. I usually stick them in a jar but can never find a lid so I have to use a stuff toy and stuff it in. I don't kill them even though I have a desire to, because I have a feeling I am not suppose to. If I caught a copperhead for real the first thing I would do is kill it and not even try to pick it up. Any translations.

i coudnt find a better word (than rub) for that action, but u know what im talking about right ? Typically when children cry, they use their hands to kinda rub/squeeze their eyes....

WHY DO THEY DO THIS ?

Any psychological root-cause for this...? or is it a purely physical reason ... (to like, maybe get rid of the tears that accumulate in their eyes?)

I was referred to a psychologist for counseling. His office staff said at the first visit, to discuss payment arrangements with him. His fee is $120 per visit. What would be considered a "fair offer", as I cannot afford $250 per month!

I'm looking to continue my education and become a psychologist/therapist. I'd like to know if anyone can recommend books to me that deal with therapist/psychological aspect. Stuff like, projecting feelings, being on the defensive in an argument with someone, learning about how to deal with relationships in a persons past (parents, dating, siblings, etc).

A friend of mine is seeing a therapist who has many degrees and is finding the therapists advice very helpful. Shes helped my friend with her relationship with her parents, and through the breakup of her boyfriend of 3 years. I want to be a therapist who does that. So any kind of book I can get my hands on to jump start my education would greatly help. Thanks!
