i cant stand spiders...the way that their legs' level is higher than their bodies...the way that they move sideways and can travel so fast...

Hey people...i got another question, that i was curious about....

- I live in a suburban area where there are countless deer; i can seen herds walking across my back yard....

- I've also had a few close encounters with them as well, as we were staring each other down at 20yrds distance...

- I was wondering: which gender of deer has the potential to induce the MOST damage, in a physical confrontation?

I gathered these facts down:
Doe
-Extremely strong fawn-protection
- more aggressive of the two
- damaging hooves

Buck
-Less aggressive
-larger in stature
- damaging hooves
-considerable sized antlers

so tell me your opinion as to which one is more deadly

My mom said something like it determins how long the winter will be, like they do when a groundhog sees his shadow in the spring. She was talking about the wolly bears stripes are sometimes longer in one color than the next stripes color.

Is it a coincidence that we don't easily get to see some animals at Zoos?

I'm a student all BSU. While walking from a class I spotted a huge neon orange spider with striped legs. The abdomen was nickel sized with medium legs. I've lived in Indiana for 12 years and have never seen anything like this. I thought that it was an orb spider but the pictures I saw didn't look close enough. Any ideas?

As far as I can see they just wander about all day, where are its offspring? How come I never see a baby spider, is it simply too small?

I saw a spider continuingly trying to get up a wall and it kept falling off, and yet every single time it tried again and again.

Are insects devoid of emotions such as anger and compassion, would it be best to illustrate how they work by saying that they are like robots with preprogrammed reactions to their immediate environment?

I 've recently checked out dozens of different zoos websites and the only panda bear i could find was a red panda bear. Where in England can I see real Giant Panda Bear? (I'm talking about the most common Panda Bear, black-and white one).

This bug is black and looks like spider to me, probably about 3" in diameter (including the legs)but since it jumped on my face I didn't really get a good look at it. My boyfriend insists that it was some type of cricket. Then we just saw another one - very long legs and when my bf when to swich it would jump away. I live in northern NJ and have never seen this bug. Does anyone know? I searched online, but no luck Thanks.

In other words, do particular birds typically play certain roles based on characteristic preferences or "personalities"? (e.g., are some birds just "natural leaders"/"followers", etc?) Or instead is it the case that, at any given time, the flight position of any particular bird is just a random thing?

Can someone please tell me what kind of spider this is? i found it alive on my living room floor, close to where my son was playing. It is black with (i think ) 8 legs..it is very fat, like the size of a thumb..the legs were very thick as well. It was not shiny at all-almost like a fur look...THIS IS NOT A BLACK WIDOW!!!! I tried to find this online but had no luck. I need to know how to get rid of them and are they poison. I did not see any bite marks on my son, but what signs should I look for? How can I tell if there is just one or a nest?

Is there a way to save them? I know, I know...Americans eat cows and pigs. But, cows cant bond with humans like dogs. Dogs grow up wth you. God gave us cows to eat and get milk. He labled dogs as "mans best friend." Why do other countries eat dogs? Do you eat dogs? What kind of dogs do those people eat? Can I save them?
