I am doing a report on animal behaviour and I'm having trouble thinking of a good conclusion. It has to besomething which somes up the whole proccess of the development of behaviour in animals.
Like:
"Let us look at the picture fully. By studying each aspect of the development of animals, we can see that although genetics and evolution have an immence effect on the behaviour of animals, there are many other factors which influence the overal development and behaviour of individuals and species.
As a procces, it is fair to say that genes create the animal, and evolution creates the arrangement of genes. This decides the animals physical chracteristics, as well as its innate behaviours and tendancies. Through play, the animal then learns about the environment in which it lives, as well as learning both practical and social skills.
The way these things are learned are varied."

But better.

My girlfriend and I love the small creatures that make our life of comfort possible. What would we do without bees? If they ceased to exist, fruits and vegetables would be very expensive for lack of effective pollinators.

Two years ago our garden was a “buzz” with bees, hummingbirds, and such. Last year there was hardly a bee around. Well, maybe dead ones floating in my swimming pool.

Needless to say, our vegetables did poorly, for lack of pollination.

My girlfriend pointed out that our garden is once again full of bees. The gentle hum of hundreds, of bees can be heard from our front patio once again!

Does this mean they are back for good? Did we help in some small way, by adding flowering plants to our low water usage landscape?

I've seen them for years large and small. Some people have said they are poisoness. I don't believe that because I've handled them. They look just like a twig. I threw one off the front deck 2 days ago. He came back last night and is stationary on the glass of my storm door. He's still here this morning.

Well, i know boars are pretty small, and i was wondering if a boar can kill a human? i really doubt it, but can they severely injure me?

i'm going camping and some of the wildlife there is: boars, deers, raccoons, foxes, and bobcats. i'm more afraid of the little bobcats than i am the boars. i know for a fact that foxes aren't dangers but a boars? what's that like a piglets with small horns?

I would like a professional opinion not some dumb kid saying, "yya boars are dangers they are wild"

thanks, -_-

I have read too many sources on ligers, which say that they are very easygoing and gentle. But they never explain why. A youtube.com video shows a man who demonstrates the gentleness of liger by slapping liger on the face, but the liger doesn't respond. The creature looks very terrifying and vicious, then how come it has no ability to get angry or attack?

I was reading an article about Mzima Springs in Kenya where they talked about hippos and their behavior. I came upon a confusing fact about hippos that I seem to be having trouble finding more information about it: "A hippo calf allows the vigorous attentions of a Labeo, a member of the carp family. Abundant in Mzima, Labeo use their wide mouths to scrape algae, parasites, and dead skin from hippos’ hides. To solicit these welcome cleanings, hippos go to certain areas of the springs where the fish congregate and adopt a cleaning stance, stretching out their limbs to open the creases in their skin. Other fish specialize in cleaning different parts of the hippos’ bodies. Barbus, for example, cleans the cracks in the soles of the feet, and tiny Garra grazes inside wounds." So, is it true that hippos actually use certain types of fish to clean their bodies? Also, please take this question seriously.

These are pictures I took of a Spider in my apartment and I'm having trouble finding out what kind it is. This was taken in Southeast Florida if it helps. The best picture to look at in my opinion is Spider_10082007_000006 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/pulpmilos/1519805813/). Thanks.
